<p id=”par-1_45″><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/50-cent/”>50 Cent</a> and Vivia A. Fox were once involved in a brief but <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/vivica-a-fox-explains-50-cent-broke-up-and-how-he-ended-it.html/”>very high-profile relationship</a>. Although their fling didn’t last long, Fox developed some strong feelings towards the music mogul. And they were feelings she still had for the rapper even after their feud.</p>

<p id=”par-2_50″>Before they made peace with each other, 50 Cent and Fox weren’t on the best of terms. 50 Cent initially claimed they broke up due to the attention surrounding their relationship in 2003. He also felt that Fox might’ve been using their romance for publicity, which Fox took offense to.</p>
<p id=”par-3_64″>“No, it wasn’t the press — it was him,” Fox once said in an interview on the <em><a href=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1VQtQgOE54″>Tyra Banks Show</a></em>. “He was like, ‘She’s exploiting me. She’s trying to use me to get publicity,’ which was so not true. … I just consider that ghetto love. That was his way of dealing with the breakup. ‘She did me wrong. Vivica did me wrong, y’all.’”</p>
<p id=”par-4_59″>The two had been <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/is-50-cent-still-feuding-with-his-ex-girlfriend-vivica-a-fox.html/”>feuding off and on</a> with each other since 2003. Their turbulent and complicated relationship would be further explored in Fox’s book <em>Every Day I’m Hustling</em>. While talking to <a href=”https://pagesix.com/2018/04/04/vivica-a-fox-dishes-on-ex-beau-50-cent-prince-in-new-book/”>Page Six</a> about her book, Fox confirmed 50 Cent would feature in it. Furthermore, she confessed that a part of her still pined over the <em>Power </em>creator.</p>

<p id=”par-5_75″>“He was the one that got away, for sure,” she said. “I have moved on and I am happy. Last year, we had a feud, and there were some things out there that weren’t clear about our relationship. So now when you read the book, there’s complete clarity about our relationship. I have tons of respect for [him] . . . I’m at peace with it, and I think he’s at peace with it, too.”</p>
<p id=”par-6_22″>Fox also claimed that 50 Cent wanted to propose to her at one point, which added to her resentment towards her ex.</p>
<p id=”par-7_34″>“I think the reason that it’s haunted me for such a long time is I found out later he wanted to propose to me,” she once said on The<em> Wendy Williams Show </em>(via <a href=”https://people.com/music/50-cent-vivica-a-fox-haunted-by-relationship/”>People</a>).</p>
<p id=”par-8_37″>And although 50 Cent made it in Fox’s book, Fox felt the need to explain this didn’t mean they were feuding again. In her more mature years, Fox seemed unwilling to jeopardize her friendship with 50 Cent.</p>

<p id=”par-10_45″>Fox would later appear in the 2009 music video for 50 Cent’s song “Do You Think About Me,” which surprised many. According to 50, he was the one who called her after the pair exchanged some harsh words about each other. His request was simple.</p>
<p id=”par-11_23″>“I said, ‘You got to stop fighting and be in my video,’” he once said on <em>The Tyra Banks Show </em>(via <a href=”https://www.usmagazine.com/entertainment/news/50-cent-opens-up-about-relationship-with-vivica-a-fox-20093011/”>Us Weekly</a>).</p>
<p id=”par-12_38″><a href=”http://nt-almost-released-as-a-single-instead-of-in-da-club.html/”>The “In Da Club” rapper</a> felt the theme of this song paralleled what was happening between him and Fox at the time. So there was no better person to play his love interest on the record than her.</p>
<p id=”par-13_42″>“The song’s about when relationships don’t work, and when I explained it to her it kind of intensified what the song was about,” he added. “And it’s now being a visual with the public sees us as that relationship that didn’t work.”</p>
<p id=”par-14_26″>However, 50 Cent clarified that the music video didn’t mean he and Fox were getting back together.
