The new clip is giving us a first look at what might be the show’s most romantic moment yet: <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/virgin-river-season-5-mel-jack-have-baby.html/”>Mel and Jack’s</a> wedding. </p>

<p id=”par-2_42″><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/virgin-river-stars-alexandra-breckenridge-martin-henderson-share-close-bond-real-life-not-just-on-set.html/”>Mel (Alexandra Breckenridge) and Jack (Martin Henderson)</a> have had a rollercoaster of a relationship over the past five seasons. But the turmoil has only made them stronger as a couple. Now, they’re ready to take the next step in their life together. </p>
<p id=”par-3_32″>“Mel, from the moment I set eyes on you, I knew you were special,” Jack says in the teaser (via <a href=”https://youtu.be/33gqch9GDzI?feature=shared” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>YouTube</a>), which revisits the moment he popped the question in season 4. </p>
<p id=”par-4_52″>“And as I’ve fallen deeper in love with you, that feeling’s only grown stronger,” Jack continues over a montage of moments from his and Mel’s relationship. “And I want to spend the rest of my life making you the happiest woman in the world. What I’m asking is… will you marry me?”</p>

<p id=”par-5_83″>Unsurprisingly, the teaser doesn’t feature any footage of Mel and Jack at the altar. But we see them practicing what looks like their first dance. There’s also a glimpse of various <em>Virgin River </em>women in a bridal boutique, where they are presumably watching Mel try on dresses. Mel appears to head off for her bachelorette party in a hot pink SUV limo, while Jack gets fitted for a tuxedo. The trailer ends with a brief look at the bottom of a wedding dress. </p>
<p id=”par-6_62″>According to the logline from Netflix, the <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/virgin-river-season-6-netflix-release-date-revealed-mel-jack-mels-parents-new-episodes-photos.html/”>new season of <em>Virgin River</em></a><em> </em>will unspool “against the backdrop of Mel and Jack’s romantic spring wedding season,” with “fresh twists and turns, escalating love triangles, [and] delightful wedding drama.” There will also be “uncovered secrets from Mel’s father’s past which will transport us to the magic and mystique of Virgin River in the 1970s.”</p>
<p id=”par-7_33″>Exactly what Mel and Jack’s wedding will look like remains to be seen. But last year, Breckenridge said there was a good chance it would resemble her real-life wedding to husband Casey Hooper. </p>
<p id=”par-8_66″>The actor’s 2015 wedding took place at a refurbished mining town in Colorado. It “looked very similar to what you would think Mel’s wedding would look like,” Breckenridge told <a href=”https://tvline.com/interviews/virgin-river-season-6-mel-jack-wedding-video-1235096819/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>TVLine</a>. While she didn’t necessarily want to recreate her own big day onscreen, she admitted that Mal and Jack’s wedding may “end up looking very similar” to her own. </p>
