Lowell and Baltierra have been vocal about the lack of contact they now have with their biological child. Looking back, though, the couple was well aware it might happen.</p>

Catelynn Lowell took to Instagram earlier this month to reveal that the Davises had blocked her texts. She said they were no longer communicating with her or Baltierra about Carly. The couple chose adoption for their first daughter when they were just teens themselves. Since then, both Lowell and Baltierra have spoken out against adoption. They insist the Davises have failed to live up to the guidelines of their contract. <em>Teen Mom</em> fans are split on who is in the wrong.</p>

<p id=”par-3_49″>Despite the drama, Carly’s adoptive parents have remained quiet about the situation. The couple has long wished for anonymity for their now-teenaged child. Baltierra’s inability to abide by their basic wishes for their child’s privacy has led Baltierra and Lowell to have no contact with their biological eldest child.</p>
<p id=”par-4_64″>It should not have come as a surprise to the couple, though. Long before Baltierra and Lowell lambasted their child’s adoptive parents, Teresa and Brandon Davis, for cutting off contact with them, Baltierra acknowledged it was a real possibility. In fact, the TV personality said he was willing to sacrifice a relationship with Carly to continue talking about her and her adoption on TV.</p>
