<p id=”par-1_18″>The official trailer for <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/meghan-markle/?swcfpc=1″>Meghan Markle</a>‘s Netflix show has dropped, but not everyone is excited about it. </p>
<p id=”par-2_25″>One day after <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/prince-harry-was-able-to-marry-meghan-markle-because-she-didnt-do-this-1-thing-in-her-past.html/”>Prince Harry’s wife</a> made her return to Instagram the <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/meghan-markle-getting-residual-checks-suits-surprise-streaming-success.html/”>former <em>Suits</em> star</a> shared the trailer for the program titled <em>With Love, Meghan.</em></p>
<p id=”par-3_77″>According to the show’s description, the “inspiring series, produced by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, reimagines the genre of lifestyle programming, blending practical how-to’s and candid conversation with friends, new and old. Meghan shares personal tips and tricks, embracing playfulness over perfection and highlights how easy it can be to create beauty, even in the unexpected. She and her guests roll up their sleeves in the kitchen, the garden, and beyond, and invite you to do the same.”</p>
<p id=”par-4_43″>While fans are split with their reactions and whether they want to watch Meghan cooking and gardening, one former TV host made it known why she feels the duchess is completely “out of touch” and doing nothing more than just “helping her ego.”</p>

<p id=”par-5_33″>TV personality and daughter of late politician John McCain, <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/meghan-mccain/?swcfpc=1″>Meghan McCain</a> did not mince words when she shared her opinion on the Duchess of Sussex’s new show and the timing of its release. </p>
<p id=”par-6_56″>Taking to <a href=”https://x.com/MeghanMcCain/status/1874951878108455131″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>X</a> McCain posted: “I was originally a Meghan Markle supporter, I thought she was cool, stylish and refreshing. Like the rest of the world my opinion changed when she disrespected the royal family. Now that she wants to be American again instead of British aristocracy what she seems to forget is Americans want real, raw, uncensored.</p>
<p id=”par-7_77″>“All of this even in the trailer is highly curated, produced and out of touch. There have been 2 terror attacks in 2 days, major wars raging and Americans can’t pay for groceries. We are a country in rage, uncertainty and intensity right now. This concept is ill-advised. I would have told her to do a show helping bring fresh food to food deserts in low income neighborhoods. Do something to help people instead of your ego.”</p>

<p id=”par-8_38″><em>The View</em> alum summed things up in three words calling the duchess and her show “utterly tone deaf” writing: “This is why the world doesn’t like you, nothing else. Just completely and utterly tone deaf to the moment.”</p>
<p id=”par-9_48″>While some are excited for Meghan’s new show and “can’t wait” to watch, others agreed with McCain and commented on Netflix’s post of the trailer saying: “Nobody wants to watch a privileged individual cook foods that nobody can afford right now” and “Brutal! No thanks! Read the room!”</p>

<p id=”par-10_50″>There is also a bit of disappointment from Meghan’s fans who were hoping to get a look inside the stunning mansion she shares with Harry and their children. That’s because as the <a href=”https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14245269/Meghan-Duchess-reality-TV-mansion-Montecito-mansion-Netflix.html” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Daily Mail</a> reported, the show was not filmed in the Sussexes’ home but instead at a rented property.</p>
<p id=”par-11_58″>The beautiful kitchen where Meghan and her friends are seen gathering to cook and bake is another house a couple of miles away from where she and Harry actually live. The owners of the estate are Tom and Sherrie Cipolla. Their kitchen features an $18,600 stove with $745 cookware and $75 cutting boards that Meghan puts to use.</p>
