Kelce has already made on-screen appearances, and he’s voiced his excitement over <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/travis-kelce-sparks-interest-asian-film-studios-source-says.html/”>future possibilities in showbusiness</a>. While he doesn’t currently have any plans for NFL retirement, he may be eyeing a full-time Hollywood career once he calls it quits on football. </p>

The trailer shows his cameo. “It’s great to see you back, Mr. Gilmore,” Kelce says to Adam Sandler’s iconic character with professional hockey aspirations, Happy Gilmore. </p>
<p id=”par-4_29″>“It’s great to see you back in 2025, Mr. Gilmore!” Kelce captioned the post. “Wishing everyone a HAPPY New Year with HAPPY GILMORE 2, coming to @netflix in the new year.”</p>
<p id=”par-5_22″>Fans are excited to see more of Kelce on their screens. Sandler also expressed his happiness over working with the NFL player.</p>
<p id=”par-6_41″>“He’s a very nice guy,” Sandler said of Kelce while on <em>The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon</em>. “You guys would love him in real life. What a big, handsome guy. Funny and cool as hell. He’s a stud and he’s so funny.”</p>

A source told <a href=”https://www.lifeandstylemag.com/posts/why-adam-sandler-cast-travis-kelce-in-happy-gilmore-2-excl/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Life & Style</a> that Adam Sandler wants to connect with Swift, which is part of his reasoning for bringing Kelce into the fold for <em>Happy Gilmore 2.</em></p>
<p id=”par-9_51″>“Adam knows that bringing Travis in on the film also brings him into Taylor’s world,” the insider alleged. “Since Sadie and Sunny [Sandler] will have small parts in this movie, like some of Adam’s other films, they’re banking on Taylor showing up to cheer on Travis when he shoots his scene!” </p>
