A Poshmark reseller named Ashley Cano found one of those looks while shopping around at a thrift store. The best part of it all was the price. While the gown is worth more than $3,000, she was able to snag it for just $19. Followers hoped Cano would walk down the aisle in the gown, but it’s not meant to be.</p>

<p id=”par-3_81″>In a funny incident of life imitating art, the reseller doesn’t have a ton of use for the dress herself. At least, not when it comes to walking down the aisle in it. According to <a target=”_blank” href=”https://nypost.com/2025/02/27/lifestyle/sarah-jessica-parkers-iconic-wedding-dress-from-sex-and-the-city-found-at-thrift-shop-for-19/” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>the New York Post</a>, Cano insisted that the dress, which is a size 4, would never fit her, and she has no plans on getting married right now. In fact, proceeds from the sale of the gown will actually be helping to pay her divorce lawyer.</p>

In the movie scene, Carrie wore wedding gowns by Wang, Carolina Herrera, Christian Lacroix, Lanvin, Dior, Oscar de la Renta, and Vivienne Westwood.</p>
