The new owner paid $8.5 million for the four-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom home. The property includes 3,500 square feet of living space and a well-kept backyard, including an expansive hot tub where Perry was found dead.</p>

The same year, he sold his 9,300-square-foot Los Angeles penthouse. The penthouse languished on the market for two years before its sale.</p>

Perry reported that he had had 15 different rehab stays, had detoxed dozens of times, and attended thousands of AA meetings in his quest to remain sober. He also had several lengthy hospitalizations from complications of his substance use, including a five-month-long stay in a California hospital after his colon burst. He was not expected to survive but eventually recovered.</p>
<p id=”par-7_26″>In August, five people were arrested in connection with Perry’s death.
