<p id=”par-2_73″>While Will Arnett is usually happy to talk about just about anything with his cohost, <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/jason-bateman-too-busy-being-child-star-graduate-high-school.html/”>Jason Bateman</a> crossed the line on the June 22 episode of <a href=”https://www.smartless.com/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>SmartLess</a>. During the episode, Sean Hayes and Bateman discussed their comfort levels around bathroom topics, even noting that they were perfectly comfortable farting in front of each other. While Arnett opted out of commenting, he seemed mostly fine with the conversation until Bateman turned it on him.</p>

Bateman said to Arnett, “Will, did you ever poo in front of Amy?” Arnett did not take the question as a lighthearted joke. He snapped, “Are you looking for clicks?” Bateman, seemingly misreading Arnett’s cues, dug in further before Arnett really lost his cool, telling his cohosts that this was “none of your f—ing business.” He went on to say Poehler would be upset and that the questioning was disrespectful. While the conversation got back on track, the awkward moment is all anyone can talk about.</p>

<p id=”par-4_53″>Will Arnett might co-host a podcast that often goes over the line, but he remains protective of his former relationship. Arnett and Poehler have a long history together, having met on the comedy scene in New York in the late 1990s. By 2000, they were an item, and they married three years later.</p>
<p id=”par-5_46″>Together, the couple welcomed two sons, Archie and Abel, before announcing their plans to split in 2012. Two years later, Poehler filed for divorce, and the couple finalized things in 2016. Despite splitting more than a decade ago, they maintain a solid friendship and remain close.</p>
<p id=”par-6_29″>Arnett rarely speaks about the relationship or the decision to separate, and Poehler avoided writing about it in her 2014 memoir, calling it “too personal.” Neither has married since.</p>
