His inability to adhere to a court-ordered program could have dire consequences. According to the documents, Nevada’s Veterans Treatment Court program booted Griffith after he failed to follow its rules.</p>

<p id=”par-3_66″>It is unclear what guidelines he failed to adhere to, but Griffith signed off on a lengthy list of requirements when his case was transferred to Veterans Court. He was asked to comply with a set curfew and provide a probation officer with his phone password. Griffith was also expected to abstain from drugs and alcohol and adhere to all rules of his sober living facility.</p>
<p id=”par-4_92″>Police pulled him in in June for failing to adhere to the court program. He has been behind bars ever since. Now, he will face formal sentencing through the district court. His charge, attempted battery by strangulation, could land him in a Nevada prison for anywhere from one year to four years, depending on several factors. Griffith is due back in court at the end of July. The initial charge stems from a 2023 incident involving his sister. It was not the first time Griffith was accused of attempting to strangle someone.</p>

<p id=”par-6_48″>Police were called and arrested the 36-year-old veteran. Griffith eventually pled guilty to a strangulation charge. He had been arrested in February 2023 for a <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/teen-mom-2-jenelle-evans-hints-that-nathan-griffith-wants-to-get-back-together-griffith-responds.html/”>domestic violence incident</a> that also involved strangulation.
