The “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” singer reportedly has “no contact” with King, who was once part of her famed girl squad. However, Swift still maintains ties to King’s youngest son as his godmother. </p>

Gone are the days of seeing them together at Hollywood parties or gracing each other’s Instagram feeds. (Remember Swift’s annual Fourth of July party at her <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/taylor-swift-renovates-mansion-betting-experts-believe-will-get-married.html/”>Rhode Island mansion</a>? King was on the exclusive guest list.) </p>
<p id=”par-3_38″>“Taylor and Jaime are not close anymore and don’t talk but there is still love,” a source close to King told <a href=”https://www.the-sun.com/entertainment/13841235/taylor-swift-jaime-king-speak-godmother-son-leo-custody/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”><em>The U.S. Sun</em></a>. Swift, who is godmother to King’s 9-year-old son, Leo, still sends him birthday gifts. </p>
<p id=”par-4_44″>She’d also “be there in a heartbeat” if her godson needed anything. “She has always taken her godmother role and duties very seriously,” the insider said of Swift, noting she’s “the most caring and thoughtful person Jaime could’ve asked to be there for Leo.” </p>
<p id=”par-5_25″>“But their relationship is a lot different now than it was back when Jaime asked Taylor to be his godmother. There is no regular contact.” </p>

<p id=”par-6_32″>The report on Swift and King’s friendship comes after a Los Angeles County judge awarded full sole physical custody of King’s sons, James and Leo, to the boys’ father, filmmaker Kyle Newman. </p>
<p id=”par-7_41″>For King, the ruling comes with certain stipulations. Namely that her contact with her sons will be limited. The <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/white-chicks-2-works-wayans-brothers-said.html/”><em>White Chicks</em></a> star is allowed to spend four—supervised—hours a week with her sons. That includes two hours on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. </p>
<p id=”par-8_35″>FaceTime calls are also allowed on non-visitation days. However, they can’t be longer than 20 minutes. Furthermore, video calls are only permitted between 5 and 6:30 p.m., and are not allowed on Sundays or Mondays. </p>
<p id=”par-9_57″>Court documents reportedly show King failed to complete a series of court-ordered programs from 2020 when she and Newman first filed for divorce. They included a drug and alcohol program with weekly testing, as well as a parenting program, and counseling, among others. Previously, King and her ex-husband had agreed to shared custody while finalizing their divorce.</p>
