<p id=”par-5_56″>“She’s, like, the coolest celebrity ever,” she said. “I always wanted to meet her ’cause she just looks like she’s really cool — and when I met her in person she <em>was</em> that cool. <p id=”par-6_33″>As her career grew, Swift had the opportunity to work with a number of other artists. She said there were two people she’d love to collaborate with if she could make it work.</p>
<p id=”par-7_47″>“I have crazy dream collaborations,” she said, adding, “I look at <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/taylor-swift-bragged-endlessly-jay-z-congratulated-pre-fame-performance.html/”>people like Jay-Z</a> and Eminem, and if there was any way that it would make sense to, you know, collaborate with them … I would never want to do a collaboration that did not make sense.”</p>
<p id=”par-8_13″>She also would love to perform live with one of her favorite bands.</p>
<p id=”par-9_47″>“As for a live collaboration, I would love to do a show with Def Leppard,” she said. “I’m a Def Leppard freak. To me, music has never really been defined by genre. Now, with digital and everything else going on, lines between genres are getting more blurred.”</p>

<p id=”par-11_76″>“She can’t go now to a store without having people come up to her — which she loves,” her mom told <a href=”https://ew.com/article/2008/02/05/taylor-swifts-road-fame/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Entertainment Weekly</a> in 2008. “It makes her day when she’s gone somewhere and people have come up to her and said, ‘I love your music — can I take a picture?’ She’s always grabbing the camera and going, ‘Come here’ and getting the MySpace shot, holding the camera and posing together. She likes that attention.”</p>

As a parent, I felt really good about that. If that’s where she draws happiness from, she’ll have that the rest of her life. She’s not always gonna have the awards, or the attention, or the celebrity, but she will always have the ability to write a song.”</p>
