<p id=”par-1_8″>Taylor Frankie Paul is celebrating a major milestone. </p>
<p id=”par-2_16″><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/taylor-frankie-pauls-custody-drama-continues-dcfs-asks-for-oversight.html/”><em>The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives </em>star</a> is no longer on probation, she announced on Friday. </p>
<p id=”par-3_26″>“Three years probation complete,” Paul wrote on <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/p/Dbw4iaklCmm/?img_index=1″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Instagram</a>. “All my PO’s said it was one of the longest probations they had seen for first time offense.”</p>

<p id=”par-4_67″>Paul had been on probation since 2023 after pleading guilty to assault following an incident involving Dakota Mortensen, with whom she shares a son, Ever. Under the terms of her plea, if she complied with all the conditions, the charge would ultimately be dismissed, <a href=”https://people.com/judge-reveals-outcome-of-taylor-frankie-paul-2023-domestic-violence-case-12036842″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>People</a> reported. That happened on August 7, with a judge in Utah reducing her aggravated assault felony charge to a Class A misdemeanor.</p>
<p id=”par-5_79″>Earlier this year, video of the fight that led to Paul’s arrest surfaced online. <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/leaked-taylor-frankie-paul-video-led-bachelorette-cancellation.html/”>In the clip</a>, she throws a chair at Mortensen, nearly hitting one of her other children in the process. Paul has also accused Mortensen of abuse, including slamming her head into the dashboard of a vehicle in February 2026. Both Paul and Mortensen have been granted protective orders against each other. Mortensen has primary custody of their son, while Paul has been granted unsupervised visitation.</p>

<p id=”par-6_16″>In her latest Instagram post, Paul said that she got stuck in cycle of domestic violence.</p>
<p id=”par-7_45″>“Back then I wasn’t even aware of what DV was,” she wrote. “Unfortunately many will experience it as many already have. DV is a sneaky cycle to get stuck in because by the time you realize what actually is happening you’re already stuck in it.” </p>
<p id=”par-8_20″>Paul also referenced her allegation that Mortensen leaked the video of their fight to TMZ as a form of revenge. </p>
<p id=”par-9_83″>“I don’t care if you see me as the villain or victim. This all surfacing the way it viciously and vindictively did, has been hell on earth and if I didn’t have the support I have I don’t think I would have made it through,” she continued. “However those same people not only get to see they failed to destroy me, but they freed me. You can see who’s educated from the not… this has been by the textbook for millions to watch.”</p>
