He has gone as far as to say that if any of his children spoke about Robyn, he would “punch you in the mouth.”</p>
<p id=”par-3_22″>That type of rhetoric doesn’t allow for a conducive relationship with his family. And right at the center of it is Robyn.</p>

But as he said in the series most recent episode, “I will not cut off Robyn to have a relationship with my children.”</p>

<p id=”par-7_45″>In a <a href=”https://www.reddit.com/r/SisterWives/comments/1i1on3k/whos_asking_you_to/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Reddit</a> thread <em>Sister Wives</em> viewers had a lot to say about Kody and Robyn Brown continuing to play the victim card. After years of Robyn and Kody deflecting their bad behavior onto each other and the rest of the family, they’ve had enough.</p>
<p id=”par-8_30″>“He keeps screaming Robyn is more important that you to those kids (by putting her, her kids, and her wants first). It has to break their hearts,” wrote one follower.</p>
<p id=”par-9_33″>“He really doesn’t get that it’s not about robyn. It’s him. He is the problem. Why does he insist on blaming Robyn and how does Robyn feel about that?” questioned a second Redditor.</p>
<p id=”par-10_49″>A third person penned, “Robyn could be exactly as she is and he could say ‘No Robyn, I need to see my kids.’ He chose not to, whether that’s because of her or not is irrelevant because he made that choice. Unless she’s had him handcuffed in a basement.”</p>
<p id=”par-11_58″>Finally a fourth viewer explained, “Robyn would love being the blame for the estrangement because it further cements her as the victim of his kids and bonds them tighter as he has to swoop in and save her *again* by demanding ‘apologies’ while she can play the benevolent martyr who doesn’t need an apology, despite feeling emotionally unsafe.”</p>

<p id=”par-12_23″>Kody Brown confessed to TLC’s cameras that he still loved his children. He added that the “door will always be open to them.”</p>
<p id=”par-13_36″>However, he put the onus on them to “come through that door” to reconcile. Therefore, once again, Kody is attempting to place blame on the kids to apologize in order to have a relationship with him.</p>
<p id=”par-14_32″>He then insinuated that his adult children continued to have an issue with Robyn Brown, over a decade after they first married in a spiritual union. The couple legally wed in 2014.</p>
<p id=”par-15_43″>Kody explained that his kids have accept his relationship with Robyn. “I’m going to be holding a hand out for that, but I’m going to be holding this hand that’s next to me, and I won’t let go of that hand,” he explained.</p>
<p id=”par-16_51″>However, Kody ceases to understand that while there have been many instances where Robyn has done and said things that have upset them, the older Brown children’s problem is with their father. Ultimately, Kody was responsible, as a parent, to nuture those relationships before the door was closed on them forever.</p>
