<p id=”par-1_42″>Hip-hop mogul <a href=”https://cheatsheet.com/tag/sean-diddy-combs”>Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs</a> has been awaiting trial from his jail cell since his arrest in September 2024. Diddy was arrested on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, which stemmed from a <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/inside-p-diddys-40-million-los-angeles-home-raided-homeland-security.html/”>Homeland Security raid</a> on his home earlier that year.</p>
<p id=”par-2_50″>Diddy’s team initially pursued having him released to await trial outside of jail, but they failed. He’s been hit with numerous accusations since that initial arrest, and now, another person has come forward and filed a lawsuit against Diddy based on an alleged event that happened a few years back.</p>

<p id=”par-3_51″>Diddy’s downfall started when his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, sued him for years of abuse. The case was settled out of court, and in early 2024, security camera footage was released that showed <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/sean-diddy-combs-lawyer-explained-attacked-cassie-hotel-footage.html/”>Diddy physically abusing Ventura</a> in a hotel hallway. It seems after that, everything in Diddy’s life started to unravel.</p>
<p id=”par-4_79″>Combs is facing mounting sexual assault allegations and a number of lawsuits. Most recently, an anonymous man known only as “John Doe” filed a lawsuit alleging Diddy sexually assaulted him on a film set for a commercial. According to <a href=”https://www.usatoday.com/story/entertainment/celebrities/2025/03/26/diddy-lawsuit-sexual-assault-commercial-set-2022/82680955007/”>USA Today</a>, a complaint was filed with the New York County Supreme Court alleging that the two were filming a “high-profile commercial” and Doe, who claimed to be a photographer and production assistant, was coerced into going into Diddy’s trailer.</p>
<p id=”par-5_79″>“Combs framed this meeting as an opportunity for (Doe) to advance his career,” according to the lawsuit, which alleged that Doe was forced to perform oral sex on Diddy. “(Doe), although hesitant, could not turn down what appeared to be a career-defining moment few ever receive. The implication was clear, also, that if (Doe) did not perform oral sex on Combs to his satisfaction, his career would be over.” The anonymous alleged victim has accused Diddy of sexual battery.</p>

<p id=”par-6_36″>Diddy’s team has maintained that he has “never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone.” Diddy’s lawyers made a statement to USA Today saying that “no matter how many lawsuits are filed” Diddy still maintains his innocence.</p>
<p id=”par-7_62″>Diddy’s trial is set to begin in just over a month, and these new allegations come following a judge’s decision to dismiss racketeering charges against Diddy brought on by Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, a producer. The judge said there was not enough evidence to proceed with <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/sean-diddy-combs-racketeering-charge-unique-attorney-says.html/”>the racketeering charges</a> but did say the sex trafficking charges against Diddy were allowed to proceed.</p>
