Recently, Combs and his lawyers have claimed that video footage of the parties obtained by the prosecution proves Combs’ innocence.</p>

They claim that video footage shows that Combs was in a consensual relationship with Victim-1.</p>
<p id=”par-3_57″>“Far from the government’s lurid descriptions, the videos show adults having consensual sex, plain and simple,” claims a letter to the judge in Combs’ defense (via <a target=”_blank” href=”https://deadline.com/2025/01/sean-combs-freak-off-videos-cassie-ventura-1236256522/” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Deadline</a>). “At bottom, this case is about whether Victim-I was or was not a willing participant in her private sex life with Mr. Combs. The videos confirm that she plainly was.”</p>

<p id=”par-4_28″>In the letter, they denied most of the allegations made against Combs. They reaffirmed their claim that everything that happened during Combs’ parties was consensual and between adults.</p>
<p id=”par-5_42″>“There is no evidence of any violence, coercion, threats, or manipulation whatsoever,” the letter continued, adding, “There is no evidence that anyone is incapacitated or under the influence of drugs or excessive alcohol consumption. There is certainly no evidence of sex trafficking.”</p>
<p id=”par-6_22″>According to <a target=”_blank” href=”https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/sean-diddy-combs-legal-team-says-freak-videos-not-show-sex-trafficking-rcna187684″ rel=”noreferrer noopener”>NBC News</a>, Combs’ attorneys say the tapes “confirm Mr. Combs’ innocence” by showing “fully consenting adults in a long-term relationship.”</p>

He issued an apology, saying he would take full responsibility for his actions.</p>

I was f***ed up — I mean, I hit rock bottom — but I make no excuses,” Combs said, per <a href=”https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/sean-combs-says-behavior-inexcusable-released-cassie-2016-hotel-survei-rcna152966″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>NBC News</a>. “My behavior on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I’m disgusted.”</p>
