<p id=”par-1_59″>Fans and royal watchers are still buzzing about a <a href=”https://www.vanityfair.com/style/story/prince-harry-meghan-markle-cover-story-2025″>Vanity Fair</a> story that was a major blow to <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/prince-harry/?swcfpc=1″>Prince Harry</a> and <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/meghan-markle/?swcfpc=1″>Meghan Markle</a>‘s reputations and their brand. The magazine’s February 2025 cover story titled “Inside Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Big Business Ambitions, 5 Years After Their Royal Exit” included several allegations that did not paint the couple in a good light.</p>
<p id=”par-2_74″>Among the blistering claims were some we’ve heard before about what Meghan is like to work for. In 2024, <a href=”https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/business/business-news/hollywood-keeps-quitting-prince-harry-meghan-markle-1235996963/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>The Hollywood Reporter</a> spoke to members of the “Sussex Survivors Club” who called the duchess a “<a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/meghan-markle-dictator-high-heels-reduce-grown-men-tears-report.html/?swcfpc=&swcfpc=1″>dictator in high heels</a>” and labeled her a “<a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/new-claims-say-meghan-markle-not-just-dictator-high-heels-also-demon-boss.html/?swcfpc=1″>demon boss</a>” who has “psycho moments.” And many remember that there were bullying claims made against her by Palace employees as far back as 2018, the year she <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/prince-harry-was-able-to-marry-meghan-markle-because-she-didnt-do-this-1-thing-in-her-past.html/”>married Prince Harry</a>. </p>
<p id=”par-3_91″>Now, Vanity Fair printed what some other former staffers thought of the <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/meghan-markle-getting-residual-checks-suits-surprise-streaming-success.html/”><em>Suits</em> star</a> and it’s not good either. Those who spoke to the publication described working with her as “really, really, really awful” and “Very painful because she’s constantly playing checkers–I’m not even going to say chess–but she’s just very aware of where everybody is on her board. And when you are not in, you are to be thrown to the wolves at any given moment.” Others have shared that they”needed therapy” after dealing with Meghan as a boss. </p>

<p id=”par-4_26″>So now the question being asked has been: Is Hollywood finally done with Meghan after this latest “punch in gut?” Some royal commentators think so. </p>

<p id=”par-5_42″><em>To Di for Daily</em> podcast host Kinsey Schofield, who is based in Los Angeles, has revealed that chatter within some circles of the entertainment industry is that people aren’t lining up to work with Meghan and view her PR strategy as odd.</p>
<p id=”par-6_37″>During an appearance on <a href=”https://talk.tv/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>TalkTV,</a> Schofield said: “We have this conversation all the time, about this very bizarre PR strategy, that I believe is driven by Meghan Markle of ‘hurry up and announce’ and then absolute silence for months.”</p>
<p id=”par-7_72″>Scholfield is referring to Meghan’s lifestyle blog, American Riviera Orchard, which was announced in March 2024 but never had a full launch after experiencing multiple delays as well as her Netflix cooking and gardening, which was also thought to debut sooner when it was announced last year. The series was supposed to debut on Jan. 15, however, it’s now been shelved due to the devastating LA County wildfires until March 4. </p>

<p id=”par-8_35″>Schofield and Talk TV host Kevin O’Sullivan also discussed how damaging the 8000-word Vanity Fair feature was for the Sussexes and opined that Meghan’s career in Hollywood is through because people now know she’s “toxic.”</p>
<p id=”par-9_65″>O’Sullivan pointed to the earlier articles and reports that have included numerous allegations as well from former staffers about how terribly Meghan treated them. He insisted that this time it’s caught up to the duchess and will stick saying: “You can get away with it once, you might be able to wriggle out of it twice, third time unlucky. Hollywood has now decided she’s toxic.”</p>
<p id=”par-10_64″>Schofield added: “Vanity Fair that is just a punch in the gut … I don’t know where she [Meghan] goes from here because people have already made up their mind about her. You <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/volunteers-reportedly-forced-take-breaks-prince-harry-meghan-could-filmed-wildfire-evacuation-site.html/?swcfpc=1″>can’t show up</a> and kick around the ashes of Pascedena and think everyone’s gonna change their mind about you.
