<p id=”par-1_23″>Things haven’t exactly gone the way <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/prince-harry/?swcfpc=1″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Prince Harry</a> and <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/meghan-markle/?swcfpc=1″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Meghan Markle</a> had hoped after they stepped down as working royals in 2020. </p>
<p id=”par-2_107″>While the two signed a mega-deal with Netflix, they haven’t been able to attract a decent amount of views with any of their content other than <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/4-claims-in-prince-harry-meghan-markles-netflix-docuseries-debunked.html/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>the <em>Harry & Meghan</em> docuseries</a> in which they discussed their time in the royal family. Moreover, Spotify <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/spotify-boss-points-unhappy-listeners-reason-meghan-markles-podcast-failed.html/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>ended its multi-million deal with the couple</a> when they canceled the duchess’s podcast after just one season before a company executive called them “f****** grifters.” <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/prince-harry-meghan-markle-really-didnt-expect-to-be-the-butt-of-jokes-after-releasing-spare-duchesss-former-friend-says.html/”>They were also mocked</a> on late-night TV and in shows like <em>South Park</em> and <em>The Family Guy</em>. And the end of 2023, was so bad for them that they ended up on The Hollywood Reporter’s <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/prince-harry-meghan-markle-opposite-category-taylor-swift-embarrassing-label.html/”>“Biggest Losers” list</a>. </p>
<p id=”par-3_80″>The Sussexes vowed that 2024 was going to be their “redemption year.” But so far Meghan revealed she was launching a lifestyle brand in March that still isn’t up and running. And these days the duchess has been busy trying to combat “<a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/new-claims-say-meghan-markle-not-just-dictator-high-heels-also-demon-boss.html/?swcfpc=1″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>demon boss</a>” and “<a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/meghan-markle-dictator-high-heels-reduce-grown-men-tears-report.html/?swcfpc=&swcfpc=1″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>dictator in high heels</a>” claims made publicly by her former staffers. Now, a royal author and commentator is discussing Meghan’s poor decision-making over the years that got her and her husband into this spot. </p>

<p id=”par-4_69″>Tina Brown is the former editor-in-chief of Vanity Fair and The New Yorker. She was also one of Princess Diana’s confidants who met with the royal mere weeks before <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/these-were-princess-dianas-last-words-before-she-died.html/”>Diana died following a car crash</a> in Paris. Brown, who later authored Diana’s biography titled <em>The Palace Papers: Inside The House Of Windsor — The Truth And The Turmoil</em>, shared her thoughts on <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/prince-harry-was-able-to-marry-meghan-markle-because-she-didnt-do-this-1-thing-in-her-past.html/”>Prince Harry’s wife</a> and her decisions. </p>
<p id=”par-5_26″>During an appearance on <em><a href=”https://theankler.com/p/tina-brown-on-trump-harris-and-our?r=23exy&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web&triedRedirect=true” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>The Ankler</a> </em>podcast with Janice Win, Brown insisted that the former working royal has terrible judgment and is “addicted to drama.” </p>
<p id=”par-6_18″>“The trouble with Meghan is that she has the worst judgment of anyone in the entire world,” Brown said. </p>
<p id=”par-7_35″>She then summed that up in four words claiming that the Duchess of Sussex always “gets it all wrong,” adding: “She’s flawless about getting it all wrong. All of her ideas are total crap, unfortunately.”</p>
<p id=”par-8_30″>Brown previously accused Meghan of “not understanding how hard her mother-in-law had to work to become a humanitarian superstar” and “completely underestimated what life without the palace platform would be like.”</p>

<p id=”par-9_37″>Brown has called the Sussexes’ exit from the royal family a “disaster all around” but isn’t surprised because Harry has always followed Meghan’s lead and over the years some people thought he secretly wanted to leave. </p>
<p id=”par-10_24″>Brown explained: “[Harry is] the lamb to the slaughter in this situation. And he just sort of blindly followed her like a child really.”</p>
<p id=”par-11_34″>She added that the duke is a “very impetuous man” who Palace advisors “thought would leave” saying: “He was so fragile, so combustible, he was so unhappy, frankly, in the constraints of the royal family.”</p>
