<p id=”par-1_40″>The Princess of Wales (<a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/dont-be-fooled-this-is-what-kate-middleton-was-really-like-in-school.html/”>formerly known as Kate Middleton</a>) and Prince William met the new Archbishop of Canterbury in early February, and during their outing many couldn’t help but notice a new striking piece of jewelry the princess was wearing. </p>
<p id=”par-2_40″>Kate donned a stunning gold statement heart necklace that retails for more than $2,000. Now, someone who used to work for the couple is sharing why they believe the princess’s necklace is most likely a birthday gift from <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/royal-commentator-says-husbands-should-not-prince-william-kate-middleton-public-avoid-tension.html/”>her husband</a>. </p>
<p id=”par-3_41″>Grant Harrold was <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/former-royal-butler-reveals-amazed-king-charles-infamous-pen-incident.html/?swcfpc=1″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>King Charles’ butler</a> for seven years. During his time working for the now-monarch Harrold’s duties included those of valet, housekeeper, house manager, and driver. <p id=”par-4_75″>Speaking on behalf of <a href=”https://www.slotstemple.com/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Slots Temple</a>, Harrold told Showbiz Cheat Sheet, “I believe Kate’s new necklace is likely a gift from Prince William. He’s romantic and very thoughtful, so I think this is exactly the kind of thing he would pick out for his wife. And it’s nice to see Kate showing it off. We haven’t seen much of her since her birthday, so nice that she’s obviously keen to show it off in public.</p>
<p id=”par-5_73″>“The piece is in keeping with Kate’s tastes and style. While she, of course, wears the more traditional royal jewels at formal occasions, her own tastes seem to be more modern. The younger royals tend to favor more minimalist pieces, which is very much the current fashion. We’re also seeing an increase in pieces with significant meanings, like engravings or birthstones — there is a real emotional significance to many of them.” </p>
