However, the eldest daughter of the disgraced duo has been in the news a lot recently. </p>

After she was spotted with the rest of the royal family at her cousin, <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/revealed-princess-anne-really-thinks-son-peter-phillips-new-wife.html/”>Peter Phillips’ wedding to Harriet Sperling</a> on June 6, she hadn’t been photographed in public for nearly two months.</p>
<p id=”par-5_44″>On Aug. 14, 2026, Beatrice was seen attending the funeral of motorsport tycoon Paddy McNally in Swindon, England. McNally was Sarah’s ex-boyfriend and over the last few months the former Duchess of York had been staying at his luxury chalet in Verbier, Switzerland. </p>
<p id=”par-6_36″>McNally died on July 22, 2026, after a long illness. It’s believed Beatrice attended the service of remembrance at St. James’s Church to represent her mother, who has also been lying low amid the Jeffrey Epstein fallout. </p>

<p id=”par-7_26″>The princess dressed in all black and was without her husband or any other family members as she walked through the churchyard before standing alone inside.</p>
<p id=”par-8_22″>Sarah and McNally remained friends over the years following their split, and it’s believed Beatrice had fond memories of her mother’s ex.</p>
<p id=”par-9_53″>After his death, multiple outlets reported that McNally may have left a small portion of his more than $800 million fortune to Sarah. According to the <a href=”https://www.dailymail.com/news/sarah-ferguson-duchess-of-york/index.html?page=15″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Daily Mail</a>, Sarah had been left “penniless” following the news of her long association with Epstein, but could now receive some money from McNally’s estate in increments. </p>
<p id=”par-10_66″>“I’m told money is not coming out in a great splurge,” editor Eve Pollard said on an episode of <em>The Royals Uncensored</em>. “McNally obviously cared for and loved Sarah. And he wants her to be safe. He wants her to have money until she dies. It will be spread out and it will be fine. She’ll live in a nice house in the lovely mountains.”</p>
