<p id=”par-1_58″>Prince William and <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/kate-middleton/”>Kate Middleton</a> have only recently returned to work together. The Prince and Princess of Wales made very few joint appearances in 2024 as Kate remained mostly out of the spotlight <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/kate-middleton-cancer-timeline.html/”>to focus on her health</a>. But in the new year, William and Kate have attended several engagements and even recently took a trip to Wales.</p>
<p id=”par-2_31″>During the trip, the two were holding hands and appeared to be enjoying each other’s company. And one body language expert thinks there is nothing but “complete ease” between the two.</p>

<p id=”par-3_71″>William and Kate have been together for more than two decades. The prince and princess first <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/kate-middleton-prince-william-relationship.html/”>met at the University of St. Andrews</a> while in college, and they have pretty much been together ever since. However, for most of William and Kate’s royal relationship, they weren’t very fond of PDA. Things have changed in recent years, though, and the two were even recently spotted holding hands while attending a royal engagement.</p>
<p id=”par-4_61″>Body language expert Darren Stanton spoke on behalf of <a href=”https://www.gentingcasinos.co.uk/”>Genting Casino</a> (via <a href=”https://www.express.co.uk/news/royal/2023477/prince-william-princess-kate-pda-body-language”>Express</a>), and he discussed that Kate and William looked relaxed in their most recent outing. “Kate and William were at complete ease together,” Stanton said. “It’s clear they felt they were almost off duty, so they felt they could really enjoy themselves and fully relax in each other’s company.</p>
<p id=”par-5_62″>Stanton continued, “We’ve seen a fun and mischievous side of both of them come out quite naturally … This was shown through genuine moments of laughter and how relaxed their bodies were when they were around each other — as well as the public.” Stanton also said that William and Kate didn’t show any signs of “hesitation or nervousness” during the engagement.</p>

And while the two are still incredibly focused on doing good things, they have subtly put a little more of a spotlight on their relationship. The two aren’t so worried <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/prince-william-kate-middleton-subtle-sign-still-paying-attention-prince-harry-meghan-markle.html/”>about showing PDA anymore</a>.</p>
<p id=”par-7_59″>The public loves to see happy couples, and William and Kate are playing into that a bit. Plus, it makes their whole family look better when everybody believes that they’re happily married. And while it’s easy to see that now, it wasn’t always so easy a few years ago, when the two would hardly show any affection in public.</p>
