<p id=”par-1_60″>Prince Harry and <a href=”https://cheatsheet.com/tag/meghan-markle”>Meghan Markle</a> share two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The couple welcomed Archie back in 2019 in the United Kingdom, and they <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/meghan-markle-gushes-about-princess-lilibet-so-proud-daughter.html/”>welcomed Lilibet in 2021</a> after they had moved to California. By the time Archie and Lilibet spent time with Queen Elizabeth II, it was already 2022, and Archie was three and Lili was one.</p>
<p id=”par-2_24″>Harry recalled the queen getting to know his kids in their toddler phase, and he said she seemed “bemused” by how well-behaved they were.</p>

Evidently, the queen did not have the greatest image in her head of American kids, because when she finally met Archie and Lili (Archie for the first time in a while, and Lili for the first time at all) in 2022, Harry recalled in “Spare” that she was surprised by who they were.</p>

Meaning in her mind, more rambunctious.” It spears no secret that some people in the United Kingdom think of Americans as loud and obnoxious, and evidently the queen revealed her own true colors in that moment as well. The queen only met Lili once, while she visited with Harry and Meghan in 2022. The queen died in September of that year, and Harry and Meghan just happened to be in the UK for a separate event and <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/king-charles-subtly-showed-harry-meghan-affection-queen-elizabeths-funeral-body-language-expert-says.html/”>stayed through the queen’s funeral</a>.</p>

<p id=”par-5_88″>When Harry and Meghan left the UK for the US, they were <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/prince-harry-plans-return-court-after-losing-uk-legal-battle-over-security.html/”>stripped of their royal security</a>. As a result, Harry will not bring his wife and children back to his home country because he doesn’t think it is safe for him to do so. Harry worries that his wife will be subject to the paparazzi and to people who wouldn’t be kind to her, and in the past, he has said he wants to make sure that Meghan is protected in ways that his mother was not.</p>
<p id=”par-6_68″>Although Harry and Meghan have not returned to the UK, living in the US with their kids has allowed them to do things that they could not do if they were still working royals. They drop their kids off at school, take them trick-or-treating, and can just generally spend time with them differently than if they remained in the UK. Harry said that he is grateful for that.</p>
