Harry and Meghan share two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, and the family has made very few trips back to the United Kingdom since leaving.</p>

The two were married for about three months before they learned they were expecting, and they had a baby boy in May 2019. However, less than a year later, the couple stepped down from their roles. They had their daughter, Princess Lilibet, in California in 2021.</p>
<p id=”par-4_43″>Since leaving the family, security has been an ongoing issue for the two. The British government removed their royal security and has never brought it back. But it isn’t their own safety that they’re so worried about; it’s the safety of their children.</p>
<p id=”par-5_79″>“Harry and Meghan are not going to spend <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/meghan-markle-first-uk-appearance-she-prince-harry-receive-invite-family-christmas-not-king-charles.html/”>Christmas with the Spencers</a> or the Royal Family this year,” a source close to the couple told <a href=”https://www.express.co.uk/news/royal/1961241/prince-harry-christmas-holiday-plans”>Express</a>. “It’s just not an option with the children at the moment due to what’s been going on with their security.” Harry’s uncle, Charles Spencer, did reportedly extend an invitation for Harry and Meghan to spend Christmas with the royals, though there has been no word on whether he’s accepted it. Apparently, he hasn’t.</p>
