<p id=”par-1_40″><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/king-charles/?swcfpc=1″>King Charles</a> celebrated his 76th birthday on Nov. 14. On his big day, the monarch opened a new food bank where a “food festival” was held. There, he was treated to a <a href=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dvVdSbpYUOE”>rendition of “Happy Birthday”</a> sung by schoolchildren. </p>
<p id=”par-2_52″>The king also received a special birthday message from his eldest son, <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/prince-william/?swcfpc=1″>Prince William</a>, and daughter-in-law, the Princess of Wales (<a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/dont-be-fooled-this-is-what-kate-middleton-was-really-like-in-school.html/”>formerly known as Kate Middleton</a>), who posted on their <a href=”https://x.com/KensingtonRoyal/status/1856983568657846417″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>X account</a>: “Wishing a very Happy Birthday to His Majesty The King,” alongside a photo of Charles during his recent visit to Australia.</p>
<p id=”par-3_39″>It is not believed that the monarch has heard from Prince Harry, which isn’t too surprising after the birthday phone call they had last year that destroyed any ounce of trust Charles had left for his youngest son. </p>

<p id=”par-4_72″>Royal fans may recall that last year when King Charles turned 75, it was reported that Harry reached out to his father via a video call and had his children sing “Happy Birthday” to their grandfather. That information was leaked to the press and the Sussexes were believed to the ones who leaked the conversation, which is something that really upset the king and showed him that Harry can’t be trusted. </p>
<p id=”par-5_42″>According to the <a href=”https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/royals/article-13847489/The-problem-Harry-royal-circles-Hes-left-feelings-disgust-accused-wreaking-Biblical-vengeance-vow-never-speak-Read-REBECCA-ENGLISHS-unrivalled-report.html” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Daily Mail</a>‘s royal editor Rebecca English, the move “was considered to have crossed a line” with a source saying: “A deeply private call between the king and his grandchildren and it ends up in a newspaper the next day. Really?”</p>
<p id=”par-6_64″>For the royal family, it was another example proving Prince Harry cannot be trusted to keep anything private which is why he found out about his father’s cancer diagnosis just minutes before the rest of the world. And when Kate shared her diagnosis, the Sussexes weren’t given any notice and learned about that the way everyone else did, via the princess’s video message. </p>
<p id=”par-7_99″>Speaking to <a href=”https://www.express.co.uk/news/royal/1975608/prince-harry-trust-king-charles-birthday?int_source=nba” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Express</a> Grant Harrold, who was King Charles’ personal butler for seven years, opined: “I think the trust with the royal family is a big issue and I think in the back of their minds they are always going to worry … I think it depends on what [Harry] does over the next couple of years if we can see him come back in. I’m sure his father would probably love to welcome him back with open arms, they’ve just got to be sure that what’s happened in the past few years is not going to happen again.”</p>

<p id=”par-8_49″>But even if Harrold is correct and King Charles wants to welcome Harry back someday, it might not be that easy. That’s because the Duke of Sussex has ruined his relationships with his brother, Prince William, and his father’s wife, Queen Camilla (<a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/camilla-parker-bowles-was-fired-from-her-posh-job-before-she-married-prince-charles.html/”>formerly known as Camilla Parker Bowles)</a>. </p>
<p id=”par-9_52″>One of the Prince of Wales’ friends explained to the <a href=”https://www.thedailybeast.com/prince-william-backed-king-charles-decision-to-evict-harry-and-meghan” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Daily Beast</a> after everything Harry has done, William “feels utterly betrayed … He hates him for what he has done to the family in the books and interviews … It’s no secret William would prefer it if Harry never stepped foot in England again.”</p>
<p id=”par-10_27″>And Queen Camilla was said to be “outraged” when Harry showed up unannounced to see Charles after the king publicly announced his cancer diagnosis in February. </p>
<p id=”par-11_69″>A courtier told <a href=”https://radaronline.com/p/queen-camilla-mad-harry-using-king-charles-cancer-diagnosis-pr-stunt/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>RadarOnline</a> that “Her Majesty was furious Harry flew in from his ritzy California home without getting palace approval and came with an attitude. I’m told Camilla was outraged,” adding, the queen could not take Harry “using her husband’s cancer as a ‘loving son’ PR” move saying Camilla has taken it all on the chin, but using her husband’s cancer as a PR stunt was the last straw.</p>
