<p id=”par-1_9″>Belinda was not prepared to see that face again. </p>
<p id=”par-2_78″>In season 3 of <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/hbo/?swcfpc=1″>HBO</a>’s <em>The White Lotus, </em>the massage therapist played by Natasha Rothwell, did a double-take when she spotted Greg (Jon Gries) at the The White Lotus resort in Thailand. While he’s now going by Gary, it didn’t take Belinda long to figure out he was the same man who romanced <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/white-lotus-season-2-every-clue-tanya-dies.html/”>the doomed Tanya</a> (Jennifer Coolidge) back in season 1 – and that he may have played a role in her untimely death in season 2. </p>

<p id=”par-3_33″>So, what is Greg/Gary doing in Thailand? We don’t know yet, but Rothwell has some ideas. The <em>How to Die Alone </em>star said she thinks he’s returning to the scene of the crime. </p>
<p id=”par-4_35″>During an appearance on <a href=”https://sxm.app.link/TheJuliaCunninghamShowPR” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>SiriusXM’s <em>The Julia Cunningham Show</em></a> on March 19, Rothwell opened up about her upcoming role in the based-on-a-true-story series <em>Who The F Did I Marry</em> and her interest in true crime.</p>
<p id=”par-5_22″>”I watch a lot of murder docs and murder mysteries and things. I don’t know what that says about me,” Rothwell said. </p>
<p id=”par-6_69″>“[O]ne of the themes is many criminals revisit the scene of the crime because they get something from that sort of proximity, and I do think there’s something about Greg wanting to keep one eye on the White Lotus,” she added. “That is really cool to, interesting to see that. Out of all the places he could hang out, he’s chosen this place where he’s met a previous victim.”</p>
<p id=”par-7_109″><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/the-white-lotus-leslie-bibb-helped-sam-rockwell-last-minute-role-realized-monologue-key-season-3.html/”><em>The White Lotus</em></a><em> </em>hasn’t revealed exactly what Greg/Gary is doing Thailand, but it’s safe to say he’s running from his past. In season 2, he orchestrated a plot to have his wealthy wife Tanya killed so that he could inherit her money. She discovered his sinister scheme but still ended up dying in a tragic yacht accident, leaving her con man husband to inherit her millions. Now, Greg is shacked up with his much-younger girlfriend Chloe (Charlotte Le Bon) in a luxury home not far from the White Lotus resort. But his chance encounter with Belinda has him on edge, and Belinda fears she could be his next target. </p>

<p id=”par-8_38″>Three more episodes remain in <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/the-white-lotus-season-3-fans-overthinking-kate-jaclyn-laurie-dynamic-according-leslie-bibb.html/”><em>The White Lotus </em>Season 3</a>. And as the drama at the resort intensifies, so do fan theories about what’s next for the characters. Some of those predictions are a bit wild, Rothwell says. </p>
<p id=”par-9_52″>“I’ve been tagged in so many conspiracy theories and it’s so funny … there are channels dedicated to like whiteboarding and PowerPoint slides about what this small moment meant,” she said. “Obviously, I’m privy to the truth because I’ve read everything and done everything, and I’m like, they really ran with that.”</p>
