Combs pleaded not guilty to his crimes. Now, fans of the mogul want to see the other celebrities named in the case. Here’s what attorney Tony Buzbee told TMZ Live regarding naming other celebrities.

An attorney explained how naming celebrities in Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ case will ‘create a firestorm’ with the media

Attorney Tony Buzbee spoke to <a href=”https://www.tmz.com/2024/10/07/diddy-indictment-lawyer-tony-buzbee-says-more-celebs-being-sued/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>TMZ Live regarding the Sean “Diddy” Combs case. Buzbee explained that “everyone’s focused” on the possible celebrities involved. Not every celebrity potentially connected to the case will receive paperwork in early October 2024. However, Buzbee says he plans to “file some lawsuits” the week of Oct. 7, 2024.

“They, of course, will include Mr. Combs and some corporate entities,” Buzbee said regarding the lawsuits he plans to file. “But, we want to make sure that if we name individuals beyond Mr. Combs, that we make sure that we’ve done our homework, because it’s going to create a firestorm. We understand that. We’re going to make sure that we dot our I’s and cross our T’s.”

Buzbee noted that celebrities who attended Combs’ infamous parties might “have a problem.” And he plans to go after those famous folks “aggressively.”

“If you were attending one of these parties, if you will, and you attended before, or you knew what was going to happen, that is, you knew a particular drug was being used, and drinks that were causing people to be coerced and taken advantage of, and you were there in the room, or you participated, or you watched it happen and didn’t say anything, or you helped cover it up, in my view, you have a problem,” he explained. “… We’re going to file public lawsuits and pursue these cases aggressively. Who will be named, when they will be named — all of that will come out in due course.”

Attorney Tony Buzbee told TMZ Live that he’s already sent demand letters to celebrities concerning the Sean “Diddy” Combs case.

Buzbee explained how this process works in detail. He said that he speaks to the victims in the case and “attempts to resolve” matters without filing a public lawsuit.

“We have done that already,” he said. “We’ve done that, I would say, with a handful of individuals, many of which you’ve heard of before. And we’ll continue to do that. That’s just the standard process that every lawyer in the United States who handles these types of cases uses because it’s the right way to do it.”

A former federal prosecutor says celebrities who participated in Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ ‘freak-offs’ should be ‘shaking’

Sean “Diddy” Combs was known for his “freak-offs” — sex parties that allegedly started late at night and potentially lasted days. Combs allegedly recorded these parties. Former federal prosecutor Neama Rahmani told the <a href=”https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2024-09-27/sean-diddy-combs-sex-trafficking-prosecution-more-like-a-mob-case-than-weinstein-with-racketeering” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>LA Times that any celebrities who participated in “freak-offs” have reason to worry.

“If I were a celebrity who participated in one of Combs’ freak-offs, I would be shaking in my boots,” Rahmani said. “At best, they’re a witness in a case that is very likely going to trial. At worst, they’re a co-defendant.”
