Back when Meghan and Harry were dating, Meghan was spending most of her time either filming <em>Suits </em>in Toronto or cozying up with Harry in the United Kingdom, but she would still make her way to the United States to <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/how-serena-williams-and-meghan-markle-became-friends-and-how-media-scrutiny-has-changed-their-relationship.html/”>watch her best friend</a> compete in professional tennis.</p>
<p id=”par-2_27″>Years later, Meghan and Serena’s relationship has stood the test of time. Now, Serena even appears to be developing a close bond with Meghan’s daughter, Princess Lilibet.</p>

<p id=”par-3_61″>When Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, moved to the US back in 2020, they had to accept that they would be far away from any family, with the exception of Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland. Meghan didn’t have any siblings whom she was close to, and she and Harry gave up a relationship with most of Harry’s family when they left.</p>
<p id=”par-4_67″>But sometimes friends become family, and that appears to be the case between Meghan and Serena. On March 1, Meghan shared a sweet video to her <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/meghan”>Instagram</a> story of Serena bonding with Meghan and Harry’s daughter, Princess Lilibet. Serena and Lilibet appeared to be spending time in Meghan’s living room, and Meghan captioned the story, “When aunties come to celebrate … and to play! Love you @serenawilliams.”</p>
<p id=”par-5_75″>Meghan then suggested that she and Serena were celebrating the launch of the duchess’ new <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/meghan-markles-returning-start-prince-harrys-love-story-with-love-meghan.html/”>Netflix show, <em>With Love, Meghan</em></a>, which premieres on Tuesday, March 4. Meghan previously planned to launch the show in mid-January but delayed it due to the Los Angeles wildfire crisis. It’s clear that, while Meghan and Harry might not have many blood relatives in the US, they have good friends who are willing to step into the roles of relatives.</p>

Meghan previously ran her <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/meghan-markle-the-tig-meaning.html/”>lifestyle blog, The Tig</a>, before marrying Prince Harry; she was forced to give it up in order to take a new job as a working member of the royal family. Now, though, Meghan is getting back to doing what she loves.</p>
<p id=”par-7_58″>The duchess’ new show centers around food but also ties in friendships and other activities like gardening. The show seems to be Meghan’s way of letting people into her life on her own terms. This Netflix show could benefit the duchess’ reputation, which has suffered a bit ever since she and Harry stepped back from their royal roles.</p>
