<p id=”par-3_54″>“Being able to have my own little girl, as I’ve spent so much of my life championing the rights of girls and women, and to be able to see this as a multigenerational story. “[My son <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/archie-harrison-mountbatten-windsor/”>Prince] Archie</a> is, of course, included in that. My husband is, of course, included in that,” Meghan said. </p>
<p id=”par-4_49″>“But I love the heritage feeling of it and knowing this is something that I can create in front of my daughter and teach her what it’s like to be a working mom,” she said of Lili. “This is something that hopefully can be part of her legacy too.” </p>
<p id=”par-5_41″>Harry and Meghan welcomed Archie, 5, in May 2019 when they were still working royals in England. Lili, who is named after the <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/queen-elizabeth-ii-7-frequently-asked-questions-late-british-monarch-answered.html/”>late Queen Elizabeth II</a>, joined the family in June 2021 after the Sussex family’s 2020 relocation to California. </p>

<p id=”par-6_39″>Elsewhere in the interview, Meghan shared how she included her two kids in <em>With Love, Meghan</em> in subtle ways. “Archie did the [filming clapboard]! Sweet moments,” Meghan said. “They would also come with my husband and visit me on-set.” </p>
<p id=”par-7_30″>The series, which is part of Harry and Meghan’s Netflix deal, wasn’t filmed at their Montecito home. Filming took place at a nearby mansion, <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/in-her-element-meghan-markle-really-enjoyed-filming-upcoming-netflix-show.html/”>wrapping in the summer</a> of 2024. </p>
<p id=”par-8_46″>“I loved that my children were able to watch me working and see the balance of that and understand what Mama does and is working to create and share,” Meghan went on. “It was really special because up until then, they hadn’t seen me at work.” </p>
<p id=”par-9_27″>“I hope that when they get old enough,” the <em>Suits</em> alum added, “they feel really proud that they were part of the beginning of this with me.”</p>
<p id=”par-10_36″>A crew member was also quoted as describing Meghan as “super attentive and doting” on Archie and Lili whenever they visited the set. The Sussex kids were even given headphones to listen during filming. </p>

When she unveiled the rebranded business (RIP American Riviera Orchard) and its <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/meghan-markles-as-ever-website-hides-nods-prince-harry-prince-archie-plain-sight.html/”>accompanying website</a>, Lili was front and center. </p>
<p id=”par-12_29″>She appeared in a photo on the As Ever site’s homepage. In it, Lili held hands with Meghan as they walked through the grounds of the family’s Montecito home. </p>
