<p id=”par-2_67″>Although Green was famous in his own right by the time he met Fox, Fox had no idea who he was. She first laid eyes on him on the set of the 2004 sitcom <em>Hope & Faith</em>, which the former couple both guest starred in. In a 2019 interview with <a href=”https://people.com/tv/brian-austin-green-says-megan-fox-never-watched-beverly-hills-90210/”>People</a>, Green revealed that Fox was drawn to him more because of his looks than his stardom.</p>

He preferred if she didn’t since it would’ve broken a surprising rule the pair came up with.</p>

Apart from <em>Hope & Faith</em>, Fox guest-starred on Brian Austin Green’s shortlived sitcom <em>Wedding Band</em>. Additionally, the duo also lent their combined talents to the Funny Or Die skit <em>Hot For Teachers</em>. The movies they did together are even scarcer. Green only made a brief cameo in Fox’s 2008 comedy <em>How to Lose Friends & Alienate People</em>.</p>
<p id=”par-11_70″>According to <a href=”https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-news/megan-fox-brian-austin-green-star-family-film-dakota-1202735/”>The Hollywood Reporter</a>, the last project they were supposed to do was the family feature <em>Dakota</em>. Fox was supposed to play a widow and single mother in who’d end up bonding with a soldier played by Green. The film was set to be directed by Andrea Iervolino from a screenplay John Harrington wrote. Iervolino felt having the real-life power couple do the movie would’ve only enhanced <em>Dakota</em>’s authenticity.</p>
<p id=”par-12_76″>“Having Megan and Brian star together is really cool for us as we certainly won’t have to manufacture the kind of chemistry and magic that makes a family film like this so special!” she said. “This is the type of lighthearted yet adventurous material that audiences are really responding to these days, so we’re very happy to be making more films in this space and know <em>Dakota</em> will touch on the soft spots audiences have for feel-good entertainment.”</p>
<p id=”par-13_100″>However, plans seemed to fall through. <em>Dakota</em>, which was eventually released in 2022, ended up starring actor Abbie Cormish instead. It’s unclear if Fox’s and Green’s break-up was the reason why <em>Dakota</em> changed course. However, the timeline might support that theory since the pair separated in 2020. Fox would also start dating Kelly that same year as well after meeting on the set of <em>Midnight in the Switchgrass</em>. But unlike Green, who needed to warm up to Fox, Kelly fancied his ex-girlfriend from the start.
