<p id=”par-1_9″>CBS is riding high with its new show <em>Marshals. </em></p>
<p id=”par-2_46″>Nearly 10 million people tuned in on March 1 to watch the series premiere of the highly anticipated <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/yellowstone-spinoff-beth-rip-title-dutton-ranch.html/”><em>Yellowstone </em>spinoff</a>. The show follows <em>Yellowstone</em>’s Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes) as he embarks on a new career as a U.S. Marshal following the death of his wife, Monica. </p>
<p id=”par-3_59″>The <em>Marshals </em>premiere is the most-watched new scripted series premiere without a football lead-in since the 2018 debut of <em>FBI</em>, according to Nielsen data. With 9.52 million viewers, it’s also the No. 1 show of the week. And the people who watched apparently liked what they saw. The show had 99% retention from its first half-hour to the second. </p>

While confronting his past, he must also learn to ingratiate himself with his new Marshals teammates. </p>
