Ten Windy City singles will tie the knot with a total stranger, then stay married for eight weeks before deciding whether to remain together or get divorced on Decision Day. </p>
<p id=”par-3_49″>The last few seasons of the show have produced just one lasting couple: <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/married-at-first-sight-nashville-now.html/”>Nashville’s Nicole Lilienthal and Christopher Thielk</a>. Could the show’s second Chicago season add to that list? Here are our predictions for who stays together and who gets a divorce in <em>Married at First Sight </em>Season 18. </p>

<p id=”par-5_104″>Fans got a look at all the <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/married-at-first-sight-season-18-meet-chicago-couples.html/”>Chicago cast members</a> in the <em>MAFS </em>matchmaking special and the season 18 premiere. But so far, only one couple has reached the altar. Camille, 32, and Thomas, 42, got married in the season premiere. Though Camille gave us flashbacks to season 17’s runaway bride due to her last-minute cold feet, she did go through with the ceremony. Her and Thomas’ first meeting was sweet, as each pledged to love and support the other during their marriage. They seemed smitten with each other and even cracked a few jokes – all good signs that they will stay together. </p>
<p id=”par-6_97″>Madison, 29, and Allen, 32, will walk down the aisle in the show’s Oct. 22 episode. Both have complicated family backgrounds and are eager to find a partner with whom to build a stable life. Unresolved trauma could make navigating marriage difficult for both. But there are positive signs that they’ll be able to break the cycle of unsuccessful relationships. While they haven’t met yet, both were charmed by the gift they received from their future spouse. Assuming the attraction is there, Madison and Allen might have the maturity and commitment to make this experiment a success. </p>

<p id=”par-7_29″>What about the other three <em>MAFS </em>Chicago couples? We’ll have a better sense of their prospects once they get to the altar. But there are signs of trouble ahead. </p>
<p id=”par-8_81″>The experts matched David, 35, and Michelle, 38. He lives in his parent’s basement. While there’s nothing wrong with trying to save money in an expensive city, we’ve seen other <em>MAFS </em>marriages stumble because of one spouse’s living arrangements. Plus, Michelle earns more than David, which could cause tension. Meanwhile, Michelle has been single for six years. Is she ready to adjust her lifestyle to accommodate a man she’s just met? The odds of divorce for Michelle and David are high.</p>
<p id=”par-9_78″>On paper, Juan, 36, and Karla, 33, look like a good match. They’re both energetic extroverts looking for a partner they can dance with. But she’s an unconventional free spirit, while he seems somewhat more traditional. Plus, he looked less than enthusiastic when he learned he’d actually been matched, suggesting his heart isn’t really in the process. Our prediction? Sparks fly for this pair at first, but they flame out early due to personality conflicts and lifestyle issues. </p>
<p id=”par-10_88″>Finally, there are Emen, 34, and Ikechi, 41. He’s a college counselor and she’s a nurse practitioner. The experts think their shared values make them a good match. But she’s an extrovert while he’s more introverted. That kind of opposites-attract pairing can work, but a mismatch in this area can be hard to navigate, especially in a high-pressure situation like <em>Married at First Sight. </em>If they’re persistent and sensitive to each other’s needs Emen and Ikechi could last. But it’s just as likely they go their separate ways. </p>
