<p id=”par-3_35″>Emem’s ultra-fast rebound with Brandon raised everyone’s eyebrows. But she told reunion host Kevin Frazier and the <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/former-married-at-first-sight-expert-jessica-griffin-found-love-one-shows-cast-members.html/”><em>Married at First Sight </em>experts</a> that it was “love at first sight” for her and her new man. </p>
<p id=”par-4_16″>“It was scary, but I couldn’t let it go,” she said of her feelings for Brandon. </p>
<p id=”par-5_62″>Emem and Brandon were childhood acquaintances who reconnected and bonded over their recent romantic disappointment. She was wounded by her brief but dysfunctional relationship with Ikechi, while his marriage of 10 years had recently come to an end. When Brandon proposed just days after they started dating, she didn’t hesitate to say yes. Not long after, she found out she was pregnant. </p>
<p id=”par-6_28″>“We were blessed early on, and unfortunately some things happened, but we’re back at it,” Brandon said when Frazier asked if they had plans to start a family. </p>
<p id=”par-7_41″>“I had a miscarriage recently,” Emem explained. “Um, 14 weeks. Yeah, so I did just lose a child. It’s a little difficult still to talk about, you know. But we’re moving forward and still excited about having children in the future.”</p>

<p id=”par-8_20″>While losing her pregnancy was painful, Emem was grateful she had a supportive person by her side during the experience. </p>
<p id=”par-9_31″>“I’ve never in my life experienced someone showing up the way that he shows up for me,” she told <em>MAFS </em>experts <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/married-at-first-sight-pastor-cal-roberson-choosing-michaels-second-bride-believes-shows-process-interview.html/”>Pastor Cal Roberson</a>, Dr. Pia Holec, and Dr. Pepper Schwartz.</p>
<p id=”par-10_31″>Brandon demonstrated his commitment to Emem earlier in the episode when he made a surprising request of Pastor Cal. He wanted him to officiate their wedding, preferably sooner rather than later. </p>
<p id=”par-11_32″>“Pastor Cal, I love Emem. I would love for you to marry me and Emem, right now, today sometime. I want to leave on a plane today saying I have a wife.”</p>
<p id=”par-12_24″>“Wow,” a flummoxed Pastor Cal replied. “I’ll tell you what. Let’s talk offline … I need to talk to y’all before I do that.” </p>
<p id=”par-13_39″>Will Pastor Cal agree to officiate Emem and Brandon’s wedding? It looks like we’ll soon find out. A teaser for the next episode of <em>Married at First Sight </em>hints that we’ll get to see the pair’s big day. </p>
