<p id=”par-1_67″>Ryan Edwards is finding that he can’t move forward in his romantic life just yet. The <em><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/teen-mom/?swcfpc=1″>Teen Mom</a></em> star is preparing to welcome a new baby with his fiancee, Amanda Conner, in February. A wedding, however, is unlikely to happen before the baby arrives. He is still married to someone else at the moment, and it doesn’t look like a divorce will be finalized before February. </p>

Standifer insists her papers have been signed for almost two years. She is ready to move on.</p>

<p id=”par-3_74″>Ryan Edwards insists his soon-to-be ex is being spiteful and stalling their divorce. At least, that is what he told the courts in November 2024. <a target=”_blank” href=”https://www.the-sun.com/entertainment/13025352/teen-mom-ryan-edwards-blames-mackenzie-stalling-divorce/” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>The U.S. Sun</a> obtained court filings from a recent appearance. In that filing, Edwards asks a judge to set a date for mediation. In the submitted motion, the troubled reality TV star claims Standifer has refused to provide the required information in an attempt to slow the divorce process.</p>

Standifer filed for divorce in February 2023 after Edwards went on a drug-fueled tirade that left the home Standifer shared with her two children destroyed. Edwards was remanded to <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/mackenzie-standifer-seeks-retroactive-child-support-reveals-ryan-edwards-income.html/”>a court-ordered rehab</a> a short time later. The rehab stint followed a slew of legal issues. That is where he met his current love, Amanda Conner. Since hooking up with Edwards, Conner has made several threatening remarks toward Standifer on social media, leading to plenty of tension.</p>

<p id=”par-5_68″>If Ryan Edwards’ divorce is being held up, it’s because of him, insists Mackenzie Standifer, his soon-to-be-ex. The mother of three took to <a target=”_blank” href=”https://www.tiktok.com/@mackstandifer85″ rel=”noreferrer noopener”>TikTok </a>to clear up some of the misconceptions about her life and divorce. Standifer responded to a flurry of questions about her past relationship and current divorce proceedings. One fan asked if she was stalling the divorce. She was quick to set the record straight.</p>

<p id=”par-6_57″>Standifer insists she isn’t holding up the divorce proceedings, as Edwards recently claimed. She said she’s had her divorce papers signed for the last two years and would happily settle things right now if she could. Still, she said she would not agree to the terms she thought would create an unsafe environment for her two children.</p>
<p id=”par-7_78″>Standifer went on to say that it is her job to protect her young children, and she’s unwilling to sign any paperwork that would put them in a dangerous or potentially traumatizing situation. While she didn’t name names, followers are acquainted with the situation knew she was <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/maci-bookout-amanda-conner-high-school-class-appeared-16-and-pregnant.html/”>talking about Amanda Conner </a>possibly spending time with the children. Conner and her access to the kids, despite her own troubled parenting history, appears to be a sticking point for Edwards.</p>
<p id=”par-8_47″>Ryan Edwards has one son with his ex-girlfriend, Maci Bookout, as well as two children with Standifer. He is set to welcome his first child with Conner in 2025. Standifer has one other child from a previous relationship. Conner also has a child from a previous relationship.</p>
