<p id=”par-1_54″>After months away from the royal spotlight, <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/kate-middleton/?swcfpc=1″>the Princess of Wales</a> (<a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/dont-be-fooled-this-is-what-kate-middleton-was-really-like-in-school.html/”>formerly known as Kate Middleton</a>) made her first public appearance since revealing her <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/real-reason-kate-middleton-didnt-announce-cancer-sooner.html/?swcfpc=1″>cancer diagnosis</a> at this year’s <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/embarrassing-trooping-colour-moments-royal-family-didnt-want-you-see.html/?swcfpc=1″>Trooping the Colour</a>. When she announced she would be attending the event, <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/royal-commentator-says-husbands-should-not-prince-william-kate-middleton-public-avoid-tension.html/”>Prince William’s wife</a> acknowledged that she’s “not out of the woods yet.” </p>
<p id=”par-2_91″>“My treatment is ongoing and will be for a few more months.” Kate wrote in a post on <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/princeandprincessofwales/p/C8NCRQKt4fA/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Instagram</a>. “On the days I feel well enough, it is a joy to engage with school life, spend personal time on the things that give me energy and positivity, as well as starting to do a little work from home. I’m looking forward to attending the king’s birthday parade … and hope to join a few public engagements over the summer, but equally knowing I am not out of the woods yet.” </p>
<p id=”par-3_41″>Many are now hoping for more updates on Kate’s health in the coming weeks and months, but a royal expert says that’s not happening because King Charles has already “closed the door” on having his daughter-in-law make any new announcements. </p>

<p id=”par-4_60″>For royal watchers everywhere who thought there might be some more updates on how the Princess of Wales is doing following her Trooping the Colour appearance, royal expert Ian Pelham Turner said the Palace won’t be giving them. He claimed that the family is going to remain “tight-lipped” about Kate’s treatment and how she is progressing to protect her. </p>
<p id=”par-5_50″>“The reality is nobody really knows how Kate is,” Turner told <a href=”https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/kate-middleton-royal-family-tight-lipped-cancer-treatment-expert-claims” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Fox News Digital</a>. “There are many whispers by those who wish to further their careers. But in reality, when the royal family wishes to close the doors on the world, they have had centuries of practice in the art.”</p>
<p id=”par-6_27″>He added that the princess is the royal family’s best asset and therefore, the king will make sure they do everything now to protect her privacy. </p>
<p id=”par-7_31″>“Kate has been stated by the global press as the royal family’s jewel in the crown,” Turner noted. “She [is seen as] the No. 1 royal … stabilizing the monarchy’s future.”</p>

She was so happy to be able to support her family and be back on duty in a united force.
