In June 2024, Costner confirmed that he’d not return to the show for the second half of season 5. It hurt, but I go forward.” He added that he can’t “wilt like a daisy,” as he and Christine Baumgartner must put their three kids first. “I have to go forward,” he continued. “I have to continue to be who I am and keep a special eye on who [my children] are.”</p>
<p id=”par-6_52″>Baumgartner filed for divorce in May 2023 and requested $160,000 in child support monthly. She initially requested over $170,000 monthly in child support, noting that she and the kids had become accustomed to an A-list lifestyle. “It’s so much more than this — it’s an experience,” Baumgartner said. “We’ve created quite a community.”</p>
