<p id=”par-1_47″>Keith Urban is teaming up with <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/blake-shelton/?swcfpc=1″>Blake Shelton</a> and Taylor Sheridan for the <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/blake-shelton-teaming-up-yellowstone-creator-taylor-sheridan-new-show.html/”>new CBS singing competition show <em>The Road</em></a><em>. </em>The four-time Grammy winner will headline the new series, which will premiere in fall 2025 and follow Urban and Shelton’s journey to find the next big musician. </p>

<p id=”par-2_62″>Urban’s quest to discover the next <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/country-music-star-most-acm-awards.html/”>country music superstar</a> will take him to venues across Texas, Oklahoma, and Tennessee, where he’ll perform some of his biggest hits, as well as his current single, “Straight Line.” At each stop, emerging acts will have the chance to open for Urban, with the audience getting the opportunity to influence who continues on in the tour. </p>
<p id=”par-3_108″>“I spent a lot of my underage life playing in some seedy pubs, sometimes just for the bartender. So I love the idea of throwing artists into a real-world environment to find out if they are artists,” Urban said. “Paying your dues sucks, but there are things in this business that can’t be taught, like how to put together a set list, whether to extend or cut a song during your performance, or how to work the crowd. For me, <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/keith-urban-recalls-one-his-biggest-concert-failures.html/”>touring has always been my first love</a>. It’s where the rubber meets the road. But it’s the only road to take if you want to be a performer.”</p>

<li>Friday, March 28 at Marathon Music Works in Nashville, Tenn.</li>
<li>Wednesday, April 2 at Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tenn.</li>

<p id=”par-6_66″>Tickets will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis. To attend, you must be 18+ (21+ for the event at Oklahoma Ranch). No photos or video recordings will be permitted, and you can only register for an event at a single venue. Ticket signup is open for the tapings in Fort Worth and Oklahoma City. Registration for tapings in other cities will open soon. </p>
