<p id=”par-1_51″><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/kate-middleton/”>Kate Middleton</a> has spent the better part of 2024 in an attempt to regain her health after a cancer diagnosis in January. While the Princess of Wales has remained largely out of the spotlight, she recently returned with a message that reveals the “power” which keeps her “spiritually and emotionally healthy.”</p>

<p id=”par-2_62″>Days after an appearance at Wimbledon alongside her daughter, Princess Charlotte, Kate Middleton shared news regarding another project close to her heart. On July 18, the Princess of Wales posted a series of photos and a message via an<a href=”https://www.instagram.com/princeandprincessofwales/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”> Instagram</a> story that celebrates the launch of two gardens at London’s Natural History Museum in London, of which she is the royal patron. </p>
<p id=”par-3_40″>“I am hugely supportive of the Museum’s commitment to create a special space which encourages people of all ages to reconnect with nature and learn more about how we can protect our natural world,” Kate shared in a first slide.</p>
<p id=”par-4_68″>In a second image, where she is seen among <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/kate-middleton-prince-william-kids-risk-participate-beloved-buckingham-palace-tradition-commentator.html/?swcfpc=1″>children and their families</a>, the princess shares how nature has helped keep her healthy. She writes, “I know the power of nature to support our development and well-being, both by bringing us joy and helping to keep us physically, mentally, and spiritually healthy. I hope these gardens will be inspiring and transformative for the thousands of people who visit.”</p>

<p id=”par-5_44″>On July 14, Kate Middleton returned to the public spotlight for a second time after revealing a cancer diagnosis in January 2024. She sat in the <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/expert-says-kate-middleton-didnt-put-on-a-brave-face-powered-through-wimbledon-appearance.html/?swcfpc=1″>royal box in Wimbledon</a> alongside her daughter, Princess Charlotte, and sister, Pippa Middleton, to watch the men’s final.</p>
<p id=”par-6_38″>When she arrived in the Royal Box at Centre Court, the Princess of Wales was greeted by a standing ovation. She wore <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/kate-middleton-returned-princess-uniform-wimbledon.html/?swcfpc=1″>a purple dress</a>, one of the event’s official colors, and presented the winners with their trophies.</p>
<p id=”par-7_32″>These presentations are one of her duties as patron of the All England Club and host of the annual tennis tournament. The late Queen Elizabeth made Kate the organization’s patron in 2016.</p>
<p id=”par-8_22″>Typically, Kate attends several matches throughout the yearly event. However, this year, due to her ongoing cancer treatment, she attended only one.</p>

<p id=”par-10_24″>In March 2024, Kate Middleton released <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/p/C402JKPtLVB/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>a video message</a> to social media about her health. She explained she had cancer and shared treatment details.</p>
<p id=”par-11_58″>“In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London. At the time, it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous. The surgery was successful. However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present. My medical team, therefore, advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy, and I’m now in the early stages of that treatment.”</p>
<p id=”par-12_29″>Kate remained silent about her treatment until June 14, 2024. The day before Trooping the Color, King Charles’ birthday parade, she took to Instagram again to share further updates.</p>
<p id=”par-13_58″>“I am making good progress, but as anyone going through chemotherapy will know, there are good days and bad days. On those bad days, you feel weak and tired and have to give in to your body resting. But on the good days, when you feel stronger, you want to make the most of feeling well,” Kate revealed.</p>
<p id=”par-14_53″>She concluded, “My treatment is ongoing and will be for a few more months. On the days I feel well enough, it is a joy to engage with school life, spend personal time on the things that give me energy and positivity, as well as starting to do a little work from home.”</p>
<p id=”par-15_21″>Kate Middleton resides at Adelaide Cottage with her husband, Prince William, and her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.</p>
