But behind the scenes, the two never really hit it off and a <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/princess-charlottes-bridesmaid-dress-tailor-finally-breaks-silence-meghan-kates-drama.html/”>dispute over a bridesmaid dress</a> only complicated things. </p>
<p id=”par-2_31″>Then, when <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/body-language-expert-pinpoints-moment-prince-william-prince-harrys-widening-rift-displa”>the rift between Prince William and Prince Harry</a> came to a boiling point, it completely sealed the fate that the ladies would ever even be on friendly terms. </p>
<p id=”par-3_36″>Some royal watchers have debated over the years if the signs were always there and now, a video going viral shows the princess and duchess looking happy in each other’s company before things went downhill. </p>

<p id=”par-4_50″>The video that has gone <a href=”https://www.tiktok.com/@queen.lilibethwindsor/video/7194527320177167622″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>viral on TikTok</a> is titled “So sad.” The 12-second clip shows photos of both women at different royal events smiling and laughing with the text: “Kate and Meghan before.” Halfway through the video, their expressions change as the text reads: “Kate and Meghan after.” </p>
<p id=”par-5_53″>The video has amassed over a million views with more than 80,000 likes, and hundreds of comments. Most of the commenters agreed that it was sad how things turned out and shared the opinion that their relationship completely deteriorated when the Sussexes moved to America and aired out the royals’ dirty laundry. </p>
<p id=”par-6_24″>One person opined: “I feel they [were] both friends tbh at first, then it all blew up and went into this toxic waste mess.”</p>
<p id=”par-7_16″>Others thought that in some clips Meghan looked like she wanted to make things better. </p>
<p id=”par-8_52″>“Meghan looks like she wants to be friends with Kate whatever happens,” a user said while another added, “I feel bad for Megan she was looking at Kate like she wanted to chat” and “Notice how Meghan in the last photo is looking at Kate sweetly and Kate can’t even acknowledge her.”</p>
