<p id=”par-1_61″><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/kanye-west/?swcfpc=1″>Kanye “Ye” West’s</a> controversial X posts continue well into 2025. <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/kanye-west-said-beyonce-let-jay-z-cheat.html/”>He and Shawn Corey Carter</a>, better known as <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/jay-z/?swcfpc=1″>Jay-Z</a>, have had their differences, with <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/jay-z-explained-relationship-kanye-west-complicated.html/”>Jay-Z once calling their relationship “complicated.”</a> However, West reignited their issues on X after posting vulgar words against the couple’s kids. Here’s what West later posted about expecting more from Jay-Z and Beyoncé Knowles-Carter through the years.</p>

<p id=”par-2_92″>Kanye “Ye” West and Jay-Z haven’t always gotten along. Jay-Z once told The New York Times that he had a “complicated” relationship with the rapper. “Kanye came into this business on my label,” he explained, according to <a href=”https://www.cosmopolitan.com/uk/entertainment/a13992950/jay-z-kanye-west-feud-nyt-interview/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Cosmopolitan</a>. “So, I’ve always been, like, his big brother. And we’re both entertainers. It’s always been like a little underlying competition with your big brother. And we both love and respect each other’s art, too. So it’s like, we both — everyone wants to be the greatest in the world. You know what I’m saying?”</p>
<p id=”par-3_43″>Unfortunately, Jay-Z and Beyoncé recently felt the wrath of West’s online rants. In March 2025, West posted on X questioning the mental capacity of the couple’s youngest children. He then called out Jay-Z and Beyoncé for not helping him more through the years.</p>
<p id=”par-4_101″>“I love Jay-Z and I do feel bad,” West said in an all-caps rant on <a href=”https://x.com/kanyewest/status/1902421374192537773″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>X</a>. “I always felt like the black sheep like I wanted family in this music s***. I’d run on stages thinking I was doing the right thing and would always be a slight hov [sic] not coming to my first wedding him putting Kendrick on the Super Bowl over me or even us never being being invited to s***, taking jabs about my red hat on <em>Donda</em>, I felt like both him and his wife could have helped me have more leverage with my kids …”</p>
<p id=”par-5_37″>West added that he wished Jay-Z and Beyoncé “used their cultural position” to help him with the Kardashian family. “S*** hurt so f*** both of them cause when I needed them it was f*** me,” he concluded.</p>

<p id=”par-6_45″>Jay-Z and Beyoncé aren’t happy about Kanye “Ye” West’s jabs at their kids. A source told <a href=”https://pagesix.com/2025/03/20/celebrity-news/beyonce-and-jay-z-are-discussing-legal-action-against-kanye-west-after-vulgar-and-offensive-attack-on-their-kids/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Page Six</a> that the couple found the rant “shocking” and “will absolutely not stand for it.” West “has spoken about their children in such a vulgar and offensive manner.”</p>
<p id=”par-7_33″>“Jay-Z and Beyoncé are aware of the posts Kanye has since deleted and are discussing how they want to handle this situation, whether that be privately and/or in a legal matter,” the insider continued. </p>
<p id=”par-8_18″>The source added that the famous couple doesn’t plan to publicly address West’s tweets about their kids. </p>
<p id=”par-9_50″>An additional source told the publication that Kim Kardashian was upset that anyone “would use that kind of language about anybody, let alone when it comes to children.” <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/kim-kardashian-allegedly-complained-momager-life-north-west-kanye-west-feud-diddy-track.html/”>Kardashian is also caught in the crosshairs</a> with West over his release of a track containing their daughter, North, and Sean “Diddy” Combs.</p>

<p id=”par-10_62″>Kanye “Ye” West and Brooke Crittendon dated from 2004 to 2006. Crittendon spoke about her relationship with West and the insecurities he had at the time. In 2013, she opened up to The Sun about how <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/kanye-wests-ex-says-started-kids-taking-cues-jay-z-ex-said.html/”>West looked up to Jay-Z</a> and hoped to have children after seeing Jay-Z and Beyoncé tie the knot in 2008 and start a family in 2012.</p>
<p id=”par-11_31″>“He admires Jay-Z, and they are very close,” Crittendon explained, according to <a href=”https://www.huffpost.com/entry/kanye-west-ex-kim-kardashian-relationship_n_2516656″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>HuffPost</a>. “Over the years, Jay has been a role model for him, and he ultimately takes cues from him.”</p>
<p id=”par-12_23″>Given West’s recent posts, it doesn’t look like there’s any chance that the rappers will set aside their feud and repair their friendship.</p>
