During Super Bowl LIX, West had a commercial promoting his Yeezy brand. However, when potential consumers went to the website, Yeezy was only selling $20 swastika-printed T-shirts. Now, the website has shut down.</p>

<p id=”par-2_61″>Kanye West is making a splash for all the wrong reasons. After he and his wife, Bianca Censori, made a scene with her “invisible dress” at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards, he took to X to <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/kanye-west-defends-diddy-during-antisemitic-twitter-rant.html/”>rant about identifying as a nazi</a> and <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/kanye-west-claims-dominion-bianca-censori-disturbing-social-media-rant.html/”>having “dominion” over Censori</a>. During Super Bowl LIX, he had a 30-second Yeezy commercial to promote his brand.</p>
<p id=”par-3_31″> “I spent, like, all the money for the commercial on these new teeth,” he said into the camera while smiling. “So, once again, I had to shoot it on the iPhone.”</p>
<p id=”par-4_54″>The commercial directed viewers to Yeezy.com, which began selling only one item after the game: white T-shirts with a black swastika print. When the ad initially aired, Yeezy had a larger selection of non-brandled shirts, pants, and jackets powered by Shopify. However, it wasn’t long before the selection was minimized to the T-shirt. </p>
<p id=”par-5_41″>As of the morning of Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2025, Yeezy’s website is down. According to Shopify, the site “did not engage in authentic commerce practices and violated our terms, so we removed them from Shopify,” <a href=”https://www.nytimes.com/2025/02/11/arts/music/kanye-west-yeezy-website-swastika-shirts.html” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>The New York Times</a> reports. </p>
<p id=”par-6_38″>The Super Bowl ad promoting Yeezy was not broadcast nationally. West reportedly bought the ad in local markets, which cost much less. After the Super Bowl ended, Fox broadcast the ad again in the same local markets. </p>
