One meme he shared to his stories featured a photo of Gollum holding the sacred ring from <em>The Lord of the Rings</em>. The image was captioned “girls on social media when they get engaged.” </p>
<p id=”par-9_47″>While it’s possible that Bieber merely thought the meme was funny, the timing seems suspicious. After all, the excitement around Gomez’s engagement has reached a fever pitch while she and Blanco promote a music album. It just doesn’t feel like a coincidence. The story has since expired.</p>
