<p id=”par-1_12″><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/jessica-biel”>Jessica Biel</a> was not by her husband’s side in court on Tuesday. </p>
<p id=”par-2_58″><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/justin-timberlake/”>Justin Timberlake</a> was arrested shortly after midnight on June 18 after he ran a stop sign on Long Island. He was subsequently charged with driving while intoxicated. But even though Biel was <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/jessica-biel-filming-before-husband-justin-timberlake-hamptons-arrest.html/”>spotted filming in New York City</a> the day before her husband’s arrest, she was not present when he appeared in a Hamptons courtroom for his arraignment. </p>

<p id=”par-3_47″>Timberlake, 43, was pulled over by police in Sag Harbor at 12:37 a.m. on Tuesday after failing to stop at a stop sign and driving on the wrong side of the road, <a href=”https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/justin-timberlake-arrested-long-island-faces-dwi-charge-officials-say-rcna157692″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>NBC News</a> reported. Sag Harbor is a village about 100 miles from New York City. </p>
<p id=”par-4_50″>According to officers, the <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/justin-timberlake-sells-song-catalog-over-100m.html/”>“Cry Me a River” singer</a>, who was driving a 2025 BMW, was in “an intoxicated condition” with “glassy” and “bloodshot” eyes and had “a strong odor or an alcoholic beverage” on his breath. He told officers that he had “one martini” and was following friends home. </p>
<p id=”par-5_23″>After performing poorly on field sobriety tests and refusing a breathalyzer, police arrested the former NSYNC member on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. </p>

<p id=”par-6_41″>After his arrest, Timberlake spent the rest of the night in custody before being arraigned at the Sag Harbor Village Justice Court on Tuesday morning. He was released on his own recognizance and is due back in court on July 26. </p>
<p id=”par-7_28″>In court, a handcuffed Timberlake was accompanied by his lawyer, Ed Burke Jr. and two other individuals, according to <a href=”https://people.com/justin-timberlake-released-from-custody-after-appearing-in-court-handcuffed-following-dwi-arrest-8665211″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>People</a>. Biel, 42, was not present at the arraignment. </p>
<p id=”par-8_16″>“He did seem a bit upset,” a source told the publication. “Jessica was not with him.”</p>
<p id=”par-9_11″>On Father’s Day, Biel took to <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/p/C8SThpXPU-s/?hl=en&img_index=1″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Instagram</a> to sing Timberlake’s praises. </p>
