A source told <a href=”https://closeronline.co.uk/celebrity/news/jennifer-lopez-rebounding-kevin-costner/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Closer Online UK</a> that Lopez and Costner stood close together at a Colorado bar in early 2025. According to the insider, Lopez remains “laser-focused” on <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/ben-affleck-jennifer-lopez-agree-split-profits-60-million-mansion-documents-state.html/”>Affleck amid the divorce finalization</a>, but it’s not an automatic no for Costner. </p>
<p id=”par-3_62″>“Kevin has a lot of the qualities she’s looking for in her next man,” the source alleged. “He’s incredibly successful and he’s someone that commands a huge amount of respect in the industry and among all their peers. Having him on her arm would make a big statement – and it doesn’t hurt that Ben has always spoken very highly of Kevin.”</p>
<p id=”par-4_33″>The insider added that Costner has a longstanding friendship with Jennifer Garner, Affleck’s first ex-wife. This “appeals” to Lopez “because she loves the idea of dating someone they can’t help but approve of.”</p>
<p id=”par-5_28″>Lopez and Costner have a lot of common ground. Costner and his wife of 18 years, Christine Baumgartner, split in 2023. They finalized their divorce in February 2024.</p>
