<p id=”par-1_84″>Jenelle Evans returned to <em><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/teen-mom/?swcfpc=1″>Teen Mom: The Next Chapter</a></em> for season 2. Fans initially thought she’d bring plenty of drama back to the series, but she was the least interesting star this time around. The show covered her move from <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/jenelle-evans-instagram-activity-suggests-her-move-to-las-vegas-was-a-big-mistake.html/”>North Carolina to Las Vegas</a>, and that’s about it. The mother of three insists there was much more going on behind the scenes, including a custody battle. Evans said MTV didn’t show her custody battle for Ensley Eason. She says decisions have been made.</p>

<p id=”par-2_54″>Jenelle Evans insists MTV opted not to show her court battle for custody of her youngest child on <em>Teen Mom: The Next Chapter</em>. Evans claimed she was granted sole custody of Ensley Eason in an <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/j_evans1219/?hl=en” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Instagram</a> story. She went on to claim a judge awarded her “sole and full custody” of the 7-year-old child.</p>

<p id=”par-3_109″>Evans has two other children. It is unclear what her custody arrangement is for Kaiser Griffith, her son with ex-fiance Nathan Griffith. While Griffith is currently located in Nevada, the veteran has had several <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/teen-mom-legal-woes-nathan-griffith-facing-years-prison.html/”>significant run-ins with the law </a>and has struggled with substance abuse in recent years. Griffith did have custody of the boy in 2019 when CPS removed all children from Evans’ home after David Eason shot and killed the family dog. The kids were later returned to Evans and Eason’s care. Griffith hasn’t seen Kaiser in years. Evans shares eldest son, Jace Evans, with her ex-boyfriend, Andrew Lewis. Lewis has never been present in Jace’s life.</p>

<p id=”par-4_96″>While Evans has custody of Ensley Eason right now, fans aren’t convinced a final decision has been made. Evans’ story has some major holes. The mother of three claims she has sole custody of her youngest child, but she and David Eason have yet to file for divorce, and it doesn’t appear that they’ve filed any parenting plans with the courts. Evans also alleges the custody agreement was reached before the finale of <em>Teen Mom: The Next Chapter</em>. It would be rather out of character for Evans to keep such big news quiet for so long.</p>

<p id=”par-5_72″>David Eason wanted to speak out about the arrangement or his child’s cross-country move. While that might seem out of character, too, there is a reason for his silence. Eason can’t speak on the matter. The troubled North Carolina native is barred from talking about Evans on social media while<a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/jenelle-evans-granted-a-restraining-order-but-not-before-she-was-chastised-by-the-judge.html/”> a temporary restraining order </a>is in place. The order expires in November unless Evans heads back to court to have it extended.</p>

<p id=”par-6_41″>Jenelle Evans and David Eason have yet to file for divorce, which has caused some concern that the former flames could still wind up back together. Hopes for reconciliation aren’t why they have yet to file, though. They legally can not.</p>
