<p id=”par-3_29″><em>NCIS: Origins </em>debuts Monday, Oct. 14 on CBS. The 2-hour series premiere begins at 9 p.m. ET / 8 p.m. CT, immediately after the <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/ncis-team-hunts-missing-agent-season-22-premiere-photos.html/”>season 22 premiere of <em>NCIS</em></a><em>. </em></p>
<p id=”par-4_45″>The premiere (titled “Enter Sandman”) introduces young Gibbs in 1991 as he begins his career as a new special agent at the fledgling NCIS Camp Pendleton office. There, he forges his place on a gritty, ragtag team led by NCIS legend Mike Franks (Kyle Schmid).</p>
<p id=”par-5_29″>Starting Oct. 21, <em>NCIS: Origins </em>moves to its regular, 10 p.m. timeslot. <em>NCIS </em>Season 22 will air at 9 p.m., after new episodes of <em>The Neighborhood </em>and <em>Poppa’s House.</em></p>

<p id=”par-6_17″>In addition to airing live on CBS, <em>NCIS: Origins </em>will also be available to stream on Paramount+. </p>
<p id=”par-7_33″>Paramount+ with Showtime subscribers can stream <em>NCIS: Origins </em>live, as well as on-demand. Paramount+ Essential subscribers will have to wait until the day after new episodes air on CBS to stream the show. </p>

<p id=”par-8_70″><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/mark-harmon-commented-return-hypothetical-ncis-series-finale.html/”>Mark Harmon played Gibbs</a> on <em>NCIS </em>for 18 seasons. He’s closely involved in the new show as an executive producer, but don’t expect to see much of him on screen. Although he will appear in the series premiere, he’ll primarily act as a narrator. He’s also been providing guidance to Stowell when he has questions about the character – and about being the primary face of a network TV show.</p>
<p id=”par-9_59″>“Mark and I talk a lot about what it means to be the leader of a team, about what it means to be a leader of this set and crew,” he told the <a href=”https://apnews.com/article/ncis-austin-stowell-gibbs-interview-2273dad6a6589ff82096536ca2e11f98″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Associated Press</a>. “Those conversations have been invaluable to me because I don’t know what it’s like. I’ve never been No. 1 on a TV show before.”</p>
<p id=”par-10_23″>While Harmon is there to offer his support and wisdom, the actor says <em>NCIS: Origins </em>belongs in the hands of its young cast. </p>
