A beauty expert believes this signals a shift away from the “clean girl” aesthetic that has been popular in recent years. This style is defined by minimal makeup. </p>
<p id=”par-3_60″>“<em>Euphoria’s</em> makeup looks are particularly relevant in the beauty world right now, as the ‘clean-girl aesthetic’ has lost its pull, and maximalism is making a comeback,” beauty expert Annabelle Taurua at <a href=”https://www.fresha.com/lp/en/bt/beauty-salons” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Fresha</a> tells us. “<em>Euphoria’s</em> Emmy-winning makeup artist Donni Davy has spoken about setting her sights on eliminating the ‘clean-girl’ aesthetic by bringing back next-level glamor in the third season.”</p>

<p id=”par-4_15″>Taurua believes that <em>Euphoria </em>has consistently redefined beauty trends since it first aired in 2019.</p>
<p id=”par-5_53″>“Since <em>Euphoria’s</em> first season, fans of the show have recreated the series’s looks because they serve as a form of self-expression and that moves away from outdated beauty standards and makes room for creativity,” she said. “<em>Euphoria</em> has redefined modern beauty through makeup, particularly with Gen-Z, celebrating individuality, bold color, and emotional storytelling.” </p>

<p id=”par-6_24″>Taurua identified four iconic styles from the show and shared how fans can recreate them at home. One is Maddy’s (Alexa Demie) signature eyeliner. </p>
<p id=”par-7_38″>“Maddy’s signature look pays homage to the horizontal straight liner, which is undeniably difficult to get right,” Taurua said. “The trick to nailing this look is to forget about the usual winged-liner upturn and make it completely horizontal.”</p>
<p id=”par-8_26″>She noted that tape can help get a sharper line. Once the eyeliner is perfect, people can make the look pop with lashes and colorful gems. </p>

<p id=”par-10_39″>“Begin with ‘soft-glam’ in mind, aiming for a hyper-feminine look,” she said. “This can be achieved with a dewy base, shimmery pastel pink and peachy eyeshadows, glossy lips, and of course, some delicate facial rhinestones for that <em>Euphoria</em> flare.”</p>
<p id=”par-11_25″>Jules (Hunter Schafer) has some of the most eye-catching looks on the show. She favors bright liner and eyeshadow, often in graphic and experimental shapes. </p>
<p id=”par-12_57″>“Begin with a clean canvas and minimal contouring so the playful eyeliner and bright eyeshadows pop,” Taurua said. “Use colored liquid eyeliner to play with negative space and create a floating line above your natural crease. Experiment with different graphic shapes and colors, and add glitter or white liner dots below the eye for Jules’ signature look.”</p>
<p id=”par-13_21″><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/body-language-expert-spotted-tension-zendaya-sydney-sweeney-euphoria-premiere.html/”>Rue (Zendaya)</a> wears minimal makeup, but she still has a signature look. Taurua recommended wearing lived-in eyeliner with limited face makeup.</p>
<p id=”par-14_47″>“To recreate Rue’s look, you must keep it natural and focus on raw, un-contoured skin,” she said. “Think smudged eyeliner and creamy, blended makeup for a lived-in look. To add a little <em>Euphoria</em> flair, consider applying glitter to your lower lash smudge line for a teary effect.”</p>
