Shelton has no children, but he talked about taking on stepdad duties for Stefani’s kids. He mentioned how becoming a stepfather came with challenges, but he loves showing her children a new way of life in the South.</p>

The post started with a clip of Stefani walking behind Shelton in Oklahoma and calling him the “hardest working guy” she’s “ever met.” She included photos of Shelton handing her flowers and hanging out with her three kids. Another clip she included shows Shelton dressed in a pink rabbit suit while her boys excitedly run up to him on the stairs. </p>

<p id=”par-7_52″>“Happy Father’s Day to me and all the dads out there who love their kids and do the very best they can,” Rossdale captioned the <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/p/C8SKqg7J457/?img_index=1″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>post</a>. “I’m really lucky to have these extraordinary people to call my own. It’s a wild journey where love and support and patience wins all the way.”</p>
<p id=”par-8_14″>The rocker also reposted a Father’s Day tribute to him from a fan page.</p>

However, it’s reportedly “been a struggle” for the couple to find someone.</p>
<p id=”par-11_46″>“In one instance, friends say Gwen wanted to use a surrogate in California and Blake wanted someone far removed from Hollywood,” the source claimed. “In another case, the surrogate backed out because of the pressure. When it doesn’t work out, it’s wrenching for Gwen and Blake.”</p>

A source told <a href=”https://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-moms/news/gwen-stefani-blake-shelton-turning-to-surrogacy-to-have-baby/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Us Weekly</a> that Stefani and Shelton wanted a biological child together. Ultimately, that never panned out. </p>
