The first episode sees the young parents questioning whether it’s time to find a place of their own after a fight with Mandy’s mom. </p>

<p id=”par-2_56″>In the series premiere of <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/emily-osment-suggests-georgie-and-mandy-marry-twice.html/”><em>Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage</em></a><em>, </em>Georgie (Montana Jordan) and Mandy (Emily Osment) are living with their baby daughter at her parents’ house. But life with Jim (Will Sasso) and Audrey McCallister (Rachel Bay Jones) isn’t always easy. After an argument with Mandy’s mom, the couple start to reconsider their living situation.</p>

<p id=”par-3_65″>A trailer (via <a href=”https://youtu.be/ZbdK-QJtFKI?feature=shared” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>YouTube</a>) gives an idea of what life is like in the McAllister household. For one, Audrey still isn’t sold on her son-in-law, Georgie. She’s worried their daughter CC “might be dumb like her dad.” And when the young parents find a moment to fool around, they discover they’ve left the baby monitor in the living room, as her dad awkwardly informs them. </p>
<p id=”par-4_47″>In addition to <em>Young Sheldon </em>alums Jordan, Osment, Sasso, and Bay Jones, a couple of other familiar faces will pop up in the series premiere (titled “The 6:30 to Lubbock”). Zoe Perry, who plays Georgie’s mom Mary, and Annie Potts, who plays Meemaw, will both guest star. </p>

<p id=”par-5_52″>The series premiere won’t be the only time we see Meemaw and Mary in <em>Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage. </em>The pair will also appear in the show’s Thanksgiving episode, <a href=”https://tvline.com/casting-news/young-sheldon-reunion-georgie-and-mandy-thanksgiving-episode-video-1235339653/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>TVLine</a> reports, along with Raegan Revord as Georgie’s sister Missy Cooper. Craig T. Nelson will also be back as Meemaw’s boyfriend Dale Ballard. </p>
<p id=”par-6_25″>“Some behind the scenes shenanigans on <em>Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage</em>!” Potts captioned an <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/p/DAWJnbYpqn7/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Instagram</a> video of herself and several of her costars on set. </p>
<p id=”par-7_56″>One person who apparently didn’t make it to Thanksgiving dinner? Sheldon Cooper (Iain Armitage). The 14-year-old moved to California to attend CalTech in the <em>Young Sheldon </em>series finale. Though <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/young-sheldon-star-iain-armitage-honored-appear-georgie-mandy-spinoff.html/”>Armitage has said he’d be open</a> to portraying the character on the new show, there’s no word yet on when – or if – that might happen. </p>
