<p id=”par-3_69″>The book will explore Christine’s experience of growing up in a polygamist family in Utah. As a child, she always dreamed of having a large family of her own – including a full cast of sister wives. When <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/sad-reason-sister-wives-star-christine-brown-wanted-mom-wedding-dress-appointment.html/”>she married Kody Brown in 1994</a>, she thought she had found everything she had ever wanted. But life as Kody’s third wife turned out to not be quite what she expected. </p>

But the cameras also revealed a much darker truth,” reads the <a href=”https://www.simonandschuster.com/books/Sister-Wife/Christine-Brown-Woolley/9781668078266″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>publisher’s synopsis</a>. </p>
<p id=”par-5_39″>Christine’s “candid” memoir will trace her journey “away from the Morman church and the bold path she is carving to live apart from all she has ever known … beyond her time in the spotlight as a sister wife.”</p>
<p id=”par-6_58″><em>Sister Wife</em> will be published by Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster. It’s due out on Sept. 16, 2025. The book is currently available for pre-order at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, and Bookshop.com. Christine wrote the book with co-author Kelly Kennedy. Her previous titles include <em>The Unit, Queen of Cuba, </em>and <em>Fight Like a Girl.</em></p>

<p id=”par-7_57″>In an <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/p/DFqFmGVRVJP/?hl=en&img_index=1″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Instagram</a> post, Christine promised that her book would be “gritty and honest.” In addition to exploring her childhood in polygamy and her marriage to Kody, it will also chronicle her “heartache with leaving religion and [her] marriage.” Readers will also learn about her romance with <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/sister-wives-star-christine-brown-weds-new-love-david-woolley-in-outdoor-wedding-ceremony.html/”>her new husband, David Woolley,</a> whom she married in 2023. </p>
<p id=”par-8_36″>In the social media update, the TLC star also gave a shout-out to Kennedy, whom she called “amazing and talented.” She noted that she “did NOT write [the book] myself even though every word is mine.”</p>
<p id=”par-9_51″><em>Sister Wife </em>is not Christine’s first foray into publishing. She previously co-wrote a book with Kody and his three other other wives: Meri Brown, Janelle Brown, and Robyn Brown. <em>Becoming Sister Wives: The Story of an Unconventional Marriage </em>was published in 2013 and explored the unique dynamics of the Brown family. </p>
