Unfortunately, they decided to go their separate ways after two years of marriage. Lopez was the one to pull the plug by filing for the separation in August 2024. As of October 2024, the exes are working through the financial side of the divorce, as they didn’t marry with a prenup.</p>
<p id=”par-3_69″>Drake, an <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/jennifer-lopez-think-musicians-good-bed.html/”>old flame from Lopez’s past</a>, allegedly reached out to Lopez after the divorce news hit the media. “As soon as she filed the papers, Drake reached out,” an insider told <a href=”https://www.intouchweekly.com/posts/drake-reached-out-to-j-lo-after-she-filed-ben-affleck-divorce/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>In Touch Weekly</a>. “He was very sweet and told her what a fool Ben is for letting her get away, and then he quickly let her know he’s ready and willing to step in and satisfy her.”</p>
<p id=”par-4_45″>Drake and Lopez were first linked in 2016, as they shared photos of each other kissing on Instagram. They continued to spend time together in 2017. The insider said that Drake’s message to Lopez “did a lot to make her smile” amid the chaos. </p>
<p id=”par-5_28″>“Getting that kind of attention when she was feeling so low was exactly what she needed,” they continued. “Now, they’re texting every day, and things are getting hot.”</p>
