Their marriage was officially dissolved two days later. <a href=”https://www.tmz.com/2024/06/14/tlc-doubling-down-with-the-derricos-deon-karen-divorce/”>TMZ</a> was the first to report the news. </p>

<p id=”par-3_69″>Karen and Deon married in 2005 and <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/doubling-down-with-the-derricos-did-deon-and-karen-derrico-use-ivf-to-have-their-14-kids.html/”>have 14 children</a>, including multiple sets of multiples. Following their split, they will share custody of their 13 minor children: Derrick, 13; twins Dallas and Denver, 12; quintuplets Deonee, Daician, Daiten, Deniko and Dariz, 10; twins Diez and Dior, 6; and triplets Dawsyn, De’Aren and Dyver, 4. Their oldest child, daughter Darian, is over 18 and not covered by the custody agreement.</p>
<p id=”par-4_29″>According to TMZ, Deon will pay $1,166 per month in child support. Karen will cover the cost of the kids’ health insurance. Karen will keep the last name Derrico. </p>

<p id=”par-5_16″>Though Karen and Deon have ended their marriage, they remain committed to co-parenting their many children. </p>
<p id=”par-6_43″>“Together, we remain unified in the parenting of our 14 beautiful children — their well-being is our priority,” they said in a statement to <a href=”https://people.com/doubling-down-with-the-derricos-deon-karen-unified-in-parenting-after-divorce-8663973″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>People</a>. “We thank everyone for their understanding and support as we move forward for the good of our family.” </p>
<p id=”par-7_18″>Evidence of Karen and Deon’s unity was on display in a celebratory Father’s Day post on social media. </p>
<p id=”par-8_17″>“Happy Fathers Day to the best father any 14 children can ask for!” Karen wrote on <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/p/C8SCkVlMzWQ/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Instagram</a>. </p>

<p id=”par-10_42″>On social media, stunned fans reacted to the news of the split. Many were worried about the well-being of the couple’s children. Deon addressed the concerns, saying that he and his ex-wife weren’t going to let their personal issues affect their kids. </p>

And that’s because both Karen, and I remain committed to giving them a nurturing environment no matter what she and I personally have going on!!!! Our babies being loved, heard, and seen is what matters to them and it shows!!” he wrote in a comment on a Father’s Day <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/p/C8TPcNCJfAi/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Instagram</a> post,</p>
